Chapter 134 Seeing Amelia Being Stared at By So Many People, Did He Have No Thoughts?

Three years ago, the one whose reputation was most damaged in that farce was Rachel. Everyone only remembered Rachel. Amelia was well protected, so no one remembered her.

The only impression was that Amelia was a Davis who had been married to Frederick, and they had divorced. Otherwise, no one remembered her.

Frederick stared at Amelia intently. Occasionally, when she spoke, she would look toward the audience, but her gaze never lingered on him.

His eyes were gloomy.

Sebastian sat beside Frederick, glancing at many elite single men in the audience who had their eyes on Amelia.

He raised an eyebrow and lightly nudged Frederick's shoulder with his elbow.

"Looking at Amelia being stared at by so many people, do you have any thoughts on your mind?"

Frederick's face became livid.

Many people in the audience looked at Amelia, even the host standing on the stage, their eyes fixed on Amelia without blinking.

Sebastian, looking at Frederick's gradually worsening expression, smirked slightly. He thought he wouldn't get any response from Frederick. But a few seconds later, a low and angry voice sounded.

"I want to hide her."

Frederick looked expressionless at the smiling and graceful woman on stage, his strong possessiveness gradually eroding his rationality.

He wanted to rush onto the stage, bring Amelia back to his side, and hide her away so that those who were staring at her couldn't catch a glimpse of her beauty.

He wanted to kiss her! He wanted to take her home! He even wanted to announce to the world that this woman was his!

Sebastian got Frederick's response and chuckled softly.

"What authority do you have to bring her home and hide her? Aren't you her ex-husband?"

Frederick's deep eyes instantly turned cold, glancing at Sebastian. Sebastian knew he was angry, so he smiled and kept quiet.

Amelia finished her speech and stepped down from the stage.

She was wearing high heels, rarely worn due to work. But today, for her speech, she chose the tallest pair from her shoe cabinet to enhance her presence.

As she stepped down, her heel accidentally caught on the carpet.

With almost no preparation, she stumbled, almost falling off the stage.

Frederick saw this scene and almost stood up abruptly from his seat.

Fortunately, Amelia just stumbled slightly and didn't fall.

As she stepped down, the camera focused on the host speaking. So apart from the live audience, no one noticed Amelia's small misstep.

Instead, Frederick's sudden rise from his seat attracted a lot of attention.

Frederick saw Amelia regain her balance and slowly return to her position, sitting back down without changing his expression.

People around couldn't help but gaze at Amelia, pondering the relationship between Amelia and Frederick. After all, when Amelia almost fell, Frederick stood up directly, indicating a likely connection.

Sebastian, observing Frederick's tense demeanor, raised an eyebrow and in a lowered tone, said, "Do you claim you don't love her despite being so nervous?"

Frederick sat coldly without saying a word, glancing sideways at Amelia who had returned to her seat.

Amber sat in the last row.

She had been doing live streaming for the past two years, facilitating many fruit farmers for Kasfee, earning both money and a reputation. Although her contribution was minimal, she was invited to attend the Kasfee commendation ceremony.

While she didn't have the opportunity to speak on stage, Amber still received an award during the presentation.

At the end of the meeting, everyone went on stage for photos.

Frederick stood in the center. To his left was the mayor of Kasfee. There were no specific requirements for positioning, everyone was accommodating each other.

After going on stage, Amber immediately walked to Frederick's side, standing to his right. She smiled and held her trophy, taking the initiative to greet Frederick.

"Frederick..."

The live broadcast continued. Frederick glanced faintly at her, showing little emotional change.

Amber smiled, standing beside Frederick. Meanwhile, Amelia stood with her seniors. She graciously gave up the main position to them, standing on the far right in the corner.

The commendation ceremony concluded.

Amelia glanced at Frederick, who was conversing with others.

Amber followed closely behind Frederick, occasionally exchanging a few words.

Tina was packing up her things to leave.

Amelia walked over. "Tina. Are you heading in the same direction as I am? Could you give me a ride?"

Tina glanced in Frederick's direction, spotted Amber, and nodded. "Sure."

She escorted Amelia out through a side door, passing through the main entrance on their way back.

Amelia glanced out the window and saw Amber standing next to Frederick, facing the reporters, seemingly being interviewed.

Her gaze paused for a moment, then a mocking smile tugged at her lips.

Frederick chatted with the mayor for a few moments, only to realize Amelia was nowhere to be seen, promptly leaving through the main entrance.

Amber followed closely behind him, and they were intercepted by reporters at the main entrance.

Frowning, Frederick scanned the crowd but didn't spot Amelia.

Paul, knowing Frederick was looking for Amelia, approached him and whispered.

"Ms. Davis has left in Tina Parker's car."

Frederick sighed, turned coldly, and returned to the venue.

The reporters were left puzzled, unsure if they had touched on a sensitive topic with Frederick.

Amber was surprised by Frederick's open display of displeasure in front of the reporters. She had intended to get some attention but Frederick's abrupt departure left her at a loss for words. She pursed her lips, about to say something to ease the tension. But soon, the reporters saw other elites coming out of the venue. So they gathered up their feelings of being left out by Frederick and went to interview them.

Amber stood rigid in place, her expression subtly nuanced. Surprisingly, not a single reporter wanted to interview her. Feeling dejected, Amber reluctantly left.

Back in the car, Amber took out her phone to watch the live replay. Looking at the photo of her standing next to Frederick, she smiled.

However, her smile didn't last long as she noticed Amelia standing in the corner.

Despite being in the most inconspicuous position, she still exuded a remarkable aura.

Amber sighed, feeling frustrated. She couldn't help but rewind the video to Amelia's speech on stage. Watching Amelia's confident and composed demeanor, her mood soured.

Thinking of Amelia's near stumble and Frederick's immediate nervous reaction, Amber clenched her phone tightly.

Amelia shouldn't have returned to Kasfee!
