Chapter 349 Anna Will Have More Love in Her Life.

Rachel marched back to her bedroom, face blank, determined.

Frederick had seen this coming.

Rachel didn't save the Davis Group from bankruptcy by luck.

Sebastian should've known better than to go against her.

But he chose the hard ball.

Frederick sighed, glanced at the envelope in the trash, and headed upstairs to Amelia's room.

The door was slightly open.

He walked in, hearing Anna and Amelia chatting in the bathroom, feeling a bit conflicted.

If he'd chosen Sebastian's path, things might be different for him and Amelia.

He took a deep breath and approached the bathroom door.

Meanwhile, Anna was wrapped in a kid's bathrobe and stood on a stool, humming and playing with a toy while Amelia dried her hair.

Amelia turned off the hairdryer after finishing.

"Mommy, I want some milk," Anna said softly.

Amelia sighed, "Didn't you eat a lot at Hastings Manor today?"

Anna pouted, "I just want some milk." She snuggled into Amelia's arms.

Amelia gave in, "Okay, after you change into your pajamas, I'll get you some."

Anna beamed, hugging and kissing Amelia. "I love you the most, Mommy."

Amelia smiled, pinching Anna's nose, "I love you the most too." She then carried her out of the bathroom.

Noticing the open bedroom door and hearing footsteps, Amelia glanced down the hall but saw no one. She took Anna to the closet to change.

Once in pajamas, Anna climbed into bed, urging, "Mommy, hurry up."

Amelia smiled, "Okay, I'll get your milk," and headed downstairs.

At the staircase, she saw Frederick by the milk machine.

"Did you go upstairs?" she asked.

Frederick nodded, "Yeah. It'll be ready soon."

Amelia watched him quietly.

Frederick finished and brought the bottle upstairs. He stopped by Amelia, whispering, "Thanks for everything these past three years."

Amelia, seeing his guilt, took the bottle and replied, "It wasn't hard."

"It's getting late. You have work tomorrow. Rest up and be careful," she said softly, then went into the bedroom.

Frederick couldn't bring himself to leave, so he followed Amelia. "After Anna finishes her milk, she'll need to brush her teeth. I'll help her. You're not feeling well, so go to bed early. I'll stay until she falls asleep."

Amelia shook her head. "No, I..."

Frederick cut her off. "I'm Anna's father. Let me do this. Don't shut me out of her life."

Amelia saw the sincerity in his eyes and felt a pang of pity. She handed him the bottle.

Frederick smiled and walked into the bedroom with her.

Anna lit up when she saw him. "Thank you, Uncle Frederick!"

Frederick handed her the bottle, feeling a mix of joy and frustration at being called "Uncle."

Anna eagerly started drinking, and Amelia rubbed her temples, worried about Anna's milk habit.

Frederick reassured her, "It's just a supplement, not a big deal."

Amelia nodded. "I just don't want her to rely on it and skip meals."

Frederick smiled warmly. "We'll guide her slowly."

He smoothed Anna's hair as she drank, and Amelia felt a wave of emotion.

In a few minutes, Anna finished her milk and handed the bottle back. "Thank you, Uncle Frederick."

Frederick took it and said, "Rest a bit. I'll help you brush your teeth soon."

Anna nodded, patting her belly. "I'm full."

Frederick pinched her cheek. "Good. I'll clean the bottle. Don't fall asleep yet."

Anna nodded seriously. "Thank you, Uncle Frederick. Hurry up."

Amelia smiled at Frederick, who was beaming.

He left to clean the bottle, clearly moved by Anna's sweetness.

Amelia watched Anna with tenderness, grateful that Frederick was attentive. Anna would have more love in her life.
