Chapter 208 Walter Was Very Scared
After resting for a day, Amelia went to work at the hospital in the morning, as usual.
Now, there were more patients in the hospital, so she mostly took her two days off a week separately.
Sometimes, it was so busy that there would not even be time to rest.
After changing into a white coat in the storage room, Amelia walked to the door of her office.
As she arrived at the door, she heard a scream coming from Walter's ward.
These days, Riley had been taking care of Walter, so he rarely made those sounds. He always cooperated no matter what he did.
Amelia frowned and walked toward Walter's ward.
Riley was standing at the door. When she saw Amelia approaching, she reached out to stop her, saying, "Sorry, Ms. Davis. Walter has a visitor."
Amelia's eyes flashed with suspicion, and she said in a deep voice, "Didn't you hear Walter's voice?"
There was still a smile on Riley’s face as she said, "Sorry, I didn't hear anything."
Amelia's eyes turned slightly sullen. Riley seemed off.
Walter was Amelia's patient. If there were any problems with him at General Hospital, the hospital should be held responsible.
So, Amelia removed Riley's hand and reached out to open the ward door.
As soon as her hand touched the door handle, the door opened from the inside.
Scott was standing at the door of the ward, wiping his fingers with a handkerchief.
"Ms. Davis. What a coincidence." Scott saw Amelia at the door and greeted her with a mischievous smile on his face.
Walter was a regular at the bar, and Scott's family was in the entertainment business, so it was not surprising that they knew each other.
"What did you do to Walter?" Amelia questioned.
Walter's scream had been very intense, and it was only him and Scott in the ward.
Scott glanced at Walter lying on the bed when he heard the question. He asked, "Walter, did I do anything to you?"
Walter was in too much pain to speak. He just shook his head in panic.
Scott smiled and looked at Amelia, saying, "Ms. Davis, Walter said I didn't do anything to him. Perhaps you got the wrong idea."
Amelia took a deep breath, withdrew her gaze from Scott, and walked into Walter's ward.
Scott didn't leave immediately. Instead, he looked at Amelia and softly said, "Ms. Davis, not everyone in this world is worth saving. Some scum shouldn't be alive."
Amelia furrowed her brows, looked at Scott, and replied with a meaningful tone, "Like you?"
Scott's expression stiffened at her words, and then he chuckled. "Do you regret saving me back then?"
Amelia didn't answer Scott's question. She just lowered her head to check Walter's injuries.
Scott stood still for a while.
Walter was now too afraid to let Amelia touch him. He shouted, "I want to change doctors."
His voice was very strained.
Amelia frowned and coldly said, "The doctors at General Hospital are each very busy with their tasks. Don't move around."
Walter gasped heavily, not daring to look at Amelia.
Amelia frowned slightly and glanced at him. She thought that evil people would always be taught a lesson by even more evil people.
Walter, the villain, was afraid of Scott, who was even more evil.
After she was done checking Walter, Amelia noticed that Scott had left with Riley at some point.
Amelia looked at Walter lying on the bed and said a few words. As she was about to leave, Walter grabbed her hand, pleading, "I want to transfer to another hospital."
He struggled to say those words, almost immediately letting go of Amelia's hand after speaking.
Amelia sensed Walter's emotions. He seemed very afraid of her.
"What did Scott tell you?" Amelia asked.
Walter didn't answer Amelia's question. He didn't even dare to meet her gaze. He just repeated, "I want to transfer to another hospital."
Amelia didn't insist he stay, She nodded, and agreed, "Okay. Get the medical staff of the hospital you want to transfer to come pick you up, and I'll prepare the transfer papers for you."
After saying that, she walked out of Walter's ward.
Walter saw her leave, breathed a sigh of relief, and immediately took out his phone to make a call.
He didn't think his injury would be related to Scott.
He thought Scott had saved him, but it turned out that Scott had harmed him.
He had just said to Scott that his attending physician was Amelia and made some lewd jokes about her.
He said that Amelia looked more attractive in her work clothes than she did in the bar that day. Now, he didn't even want to leave the hospital because Amelia would come to check on him every day. When her hand touched his body, he felt a sense of pleasure.
Before Walter could finish speaking, Scott had suddenly grabbed his broken arm and twisted it fiercely, indicating that if he liked staying in the hospital, he could stay longer.
Walter had known Scott for a long time, but he had never seen Scott look as terrifying as he did just now. The murderous intent in his eyes was unforgettable.
The medical staff from the replacement hospital for Walter soon arrived.
Walter's condition was not very complicated and had stabilized, so when he said he wanted to transfer, Amelia let him go.
When Walter left, Amelia went out and said a few words to the medical staff who had come to transfer him.
Walter didn't dare look at Amelia throughout the process, urging the medical staff to leave quickly.
After he left, the corridor of the department quieted down.

Outside the hospital, Scott sat in the car, a cigarette in one hand and his hand out the window.
He saw Walter being picked up by a car from another hospital, smiled coldly, flicked the cigarette out the window, started the car, and drove away.
When Walter got into the car, he saw Scott's car, and his expression immediately stiffened.
