Chapter 114 Sending Her My Nude Photos
Anthony was floored by William's fierce kick and sprang out of bed.
Clutching his butt, he yelled, "Dad, what the heck?"
William, fuming, shot back, "You seriously don't know? I can't believe how shameless you are!"
Karen, hearing the commotion, stormed in, looking pissed.
She demanded, "What's going on? Why are you yelling at him?"
William pointed at Anthony, still seething, "Ask him what he did today!"
Karen turned to Anthony, confused, "Anthony, what did you do to make your dad this mad?"
William exploded again, "Do you even know the York Family's status? Do you know who Seraphina is? And you sent her those kinds of photos? Have you no shame?"
William slapped his own face in frustration, "You've disgraced me! How am I supposed to face Mr. York now?"
Anthony, bewildered, asked, "Dad, can you just tell me what I did?"
William's anger only grew, "You seriously don't know? How far have you and Seraphina gone? And you sent her naked photos? No self-respect, no respect for her. Do you think the York Family will still let her marry you? Keep those nudes to yourself. Why send them to her? For her to critique?"
Anthony's eyes widened in shock, "Dad, no way! I'm trying to win Seraphina over, why would I send her those photos?"
William's voice rose, "You think I believe you? Mr. York just called me! Seraphina's in tears! If you didn't send them, who did? Did someone steal your phone? Who else has those photos? You've really let me down!"
Karen glanced at Anthony, sighed, shook her head, and left the room with William.
Anthony was left alone, fuming. He had no clue what went wrong.
He had taken some nudes after a shower, using his phone propped on the table.
But he had stored those photos in a private, password-protected album.
So who sent those photos to Seraphina?
Anthony tore at his hair, trying to figure it out.
Meanwhile, at Elizabeth's villa, in Pearl's room.
Pearl was clinging to Nolan's arm.
She asked, "Nolan, are we messing up Dad's marriage by doing this?"
Nolan replied, "Pearl, stop calling him Dad. He doesn't deserve it."
Pearl asked again, "So, by doing this, he won't be able to marry into a rich family, right?"
Nolan nodded, "Exactly. He'll be infamous. No woman will want to date or marry him."
Pearl, a bit worried, said, "Really? Nolan, isn't this a bit too much?"
Nolan, coldly, "No. He wronged Mom. I'm teaching him a lesson for her."
Pearl asked, curious, "Nolan, can I see the photos you sent?"
Nolan shook his head, "No. They're too gross. You'd puke."
Pearl nodded, "Really? Okay, I won't look then."
Monday. City Hall.
Michael's divorce lawyer met with Elizabeth to finalize their split.
After leaving City Hall, Elizabeth tucked the divorce papers into her bag and headed to a café.
Ryan was already there, along with Michael's lawyer, ready to sign the purchase contract for the Jones Group building.
Elizabeth was surprised that Michael offered her $150 million, the original price from four years ago.
She asked the lawyer, "Is this price for real?"
The lawyer confirmed, "Absolutely, Ms. Jones. Mr. Thomas fully authorized me to handle the transfer. The price is $150 million."
Elizabeth thought, 'Is Michael pitying me? Does he think I can't afford it? Is he feeling sorry for me?'
She looked up and told the lawyer, "Tell him there's no need for that. We'll go with the market price. $300 million."
The lawyer might have believed that securing a higher settlement would also showcase his abilities. Consequently, both parties signed the contract.
Ryan, seeing the deal finally done, breathed a sigh of relief.
It looked like Elizabeth was really going to rebuild the Jones Group.
Ryan excitedly messaged the old employees' group.
The group buzzed with excitement.
Everyone was eager to return to the Jones Group.
Global Horizons International School.
Every room was decked out in luxury.
Suddenly, a door creaked open.
A young woman peeked out, looking around nervously before stepping into the hallway.
She had a delicate face, big eyes, long hair, and was stunningly beautiful. Her face had an innocent look.
Seeing no one in the hallway, she quickly ducked into the stairwell and peeked down the hall.
In a room at the end of the hallway, a girl was crying.
The caregivers were scolding and hitting her. "If you don't eat, you'll starve here. No one will care. Your family died in a car accident. Even though they paid for 30 years, they're gone, and no one cares about you."
The girl didn't understand what they were saying; she just cried.
She had been in a car accident, her brain damaged, and her intelligence was that of a child.
Nolan, returning from outside, heard the crying and the caregivers' scolding.
He opened his laptop and started typing.
Suddenly, the room was filled with the caregivers' screams.
"Ah! Why did the lights go out? Why did the curtains close by themselves?"
"The emergency lights aren't working either. Oh my God, I can't see anything."
"Who's hitting me?"
"Why are you hitting me?"
"No, I think it is the care robot..."
"Why is it hitting us? Has it gone crazy?"
"This place is haunted. Let's get out of here."
The two caregivers bolted from the room.
Nolan pulled down his hat brim.
Just as he was about to leave, someone grabbed his arm.
Nolan looked up nervously and saw a beautiful woman in a pink princess-style dress, smiling sweetly at him.
