Chapter 195 The Moaning Behind the Rockery

Anthony shot back defensively, "Dr. Griffin, I'm doing this for you. It's my first time pulling something like this, and I had no other choice. If I didn't get this, do you think my uncle would sleep with you? You know he doesn't love you, right?"

Calla, feeling a mix of embarrassment and anger, whispered, "Stop it! Neither of us loves each other."

Anthony chuckled. "So, it's all good then, right? No one's losing out."

Calla narrowed her eyes and sneered. "I'll find a way to make him drink this and sleep with me. As long as I'm around, he and Elizabeth will never be together."

Anthony's expression shifted. "You really hate Elizabeth, don't you?"

Calla snapped, "She's already divorced Michael, but they still have feelings for each other. Michael can't forget her, and she keeps showing up. If you were me, wouldn't you hate her too?"

Under the dim light, she squinted and said with venom, "If she gets in my way again, she'll regret it!"

Anthony looked at Calla and suddenly found her terrifying.

She was nothing like Elizabeth.

Even though Elizabeth didn't like him, he knew she had a kind, honest, and beautiful heart. She'd never think of hurting anyone, no matter how much she disliked them.

But Calla was different. She was the epitome of the saying "the most venomous is a woman's heart."

However, Anthony thought, if Calla's plan worked, and she married Michael and had his kid, when the kid grew up and inherited Michael's estate, he could reveal to the kid that he was the real father.

Then he'd be the biggest winner.

Thinking of this, Anthony grinned.

He walked up to Calla, gently massaging her shoulders, his mouth close to her ear. "Don't worry. Whatever you need me to do, I'll make sure you're happy."

He moved closer, gently biting her earlobe.

Calla didn't resist.

His actions got bolder, his hands slowly moving downward. "I can make you very happy in other ways too. Better than my uncle. Wanna try?"

Calla leaned into him.

Anthony felt her invitation.

His right hand slipped into her neckline, moving downward, roughly squeezing her breast.

Calla was already breathing heavily. She turned around, grabbed Anthony's collar, and pulled him into the shadow of the rockery.

Anthony kissed Calla fiercely.

Calla's body pressed against a smooth stone. She held Anthony tightly.

They were like people who had been thirsty for too long, finally finding a spring, fervently kissing each other.

Anthony stepped on a stone, lifting one of Calla's legs onto his.

He lifted her skirt, reaching towards her crotch.

He kissed her while his fingers moved back and forth below.

Calla was panting heavily from his actions.

Anthony whispered in her ear, "Dr. Griffin, tell me, who's better, me or my uncle?"

Calla, trembling, answered, "Of course... you."

Anthony unzipped the back of her top and pulled her bra down to below her chest.

Calla's breasts were out in the open.

Anthony leaned in, licking her nipples.

Calla's body shivered.

She held Anthony's head, moaning, urging him to go faster.

Anthony straightened up, turning Calla to lean against the rockery.

He hiked her skirt up to her waist, pulling down her stockings and underwear.

He held her, entering her from behind.

Soon, muffled moans filled the air behind the rockery.

The next morning at Stellar Enterprises, in the president's office, Daniel was giving his report to Michael.

After wrapping up, Daniel was about to leave.

Michael called out to him. "How's the Jones Group doing lately?"

Daniel was ready for this. He knew Michael still cared about Elizabeth. "Mr. Thomas, from what I gather, the Jones Group's domestic sales aren't doing well."

Michael frowned, motioning for him to go on.

Daniel continued, "Elizabeth's Innovatech Solutions abroad is impressive. But here, even though the Jones Group's products are just as good, the domestic market doesn't recognize the brand. No matter how good her stuff is, no one's buying."

Michael propped his chin with his right hand, pondering, "She doesn't get marketing at all. I don't know how her company abroad survived. She doesn't even advertise; who knows what she's making?"

Daniel nodded. "Yeah, that's the Jones Group's problem."

Daniel hesitated but decided to spill the beans. "I heard Elizabeth has a lunch meeting with Tanner from Vanguard Enterprises Group at the Intercontinental Hotel today."

A cold light flashed in Michael's eyes. "Intercontinental Hotel? Doesn't she know what kind of guy Tanner is? And she's meeting him alone? Is she nuts? Is it a public area or a private dining room?"

Daniel didn't dare meet Michael's intense gaze.

He answered carefully, "A private dining room, on the third floor, Whispering Wind Pavilion."

Michael stood up, his eyes sharp. "What time?"

Daniel edged towards the door. "Eleven o'clock."

Michael checked the time, grabbed his coat, and rushed out.

At the Intercontinental Hotel, on the third floor in the Whispering Wind Pavilion, Tanner Hagen, the president of Vanguard Enterprises Group, sat in a chair, his obese body spilling over.

Elizabeth, sitting across from him, couldn't help but worry about the chair's stability.

She coughed lightly, picked up her glass, and took a small sip of water.

Tanner smiled at her. "Ms. Jones, you're punctual and trustworthy, and you came alone as promised."

Elizabeth handed him the menu. "Mr. Hagen, it's a pleasure to meet you."

Tanner took the menu and set it aside, staring at Elizabeth without blinking. "I'm also very pleased to meet you, Ms. Jones. I didn't expect the president of the Jones Group to be such a young and beautiful lady."
