Chapter 470 Sex on a Rainy Night

Michael thrust into Elizabeth with a fierce intensity.

Tonight's situation brought back memories for Elizabeth of their first time together years ago.

Back then, he was just as rough and unkind, showing no regard for her feelings.

Elizabeth had deliberately undressed tonight to seduce Michael. Since he wouldn't accept her apology, she thought she could at least use her body to please him and hopefully calm his anger.

She knew she was wrong. She had apologized. Even if he didn't want to forgive her, she could find another opportunity to make it up to him later.

Elizabeth just hadn't expected his anger to be this intense.

So, this was the extent of Michael's feelings for her.

Michael continued to pound into her, his lips biting and sucking at her mouth. His large hands occasionally gripped her breasts, kneading them roughly.

Elizabeth lay beneath him, unresponsive, unlike before when she would tilt her head back to kiss him.

She felt a pang of disappointment, just wishing for Michael to finish quickly.

Outside, the rain continued to beat against the windows.

Elizabeth's heart felt just as stormy.

When Michael finally finished, he pulled her up roughly. "Go clean yourself up."

Elizabeth obediently stood up, grabbed her robe, and walked to the bathroom.

She quickly washed up, then grabbed the hairdryer to dry her hair.

Michael bent down and planted a heavy kiss on her cheek before heading into the bathroom.

The sound of running water filled the room.

Elizabeth picked up the dress she had worn earlier in the day, hesitated for a moment, then discarded it.

It was too wet.

She opened Michael's wardrobe, took out a black shirt, and put it on. She tied the robe's belt around her waist, making a knot.

She also took a pair of his socks from the drawer and put them on.

Grabbing her phone, she quietly opened the door and went downstairs.

It was still raining outside. She took Michael's coat from the rack, grabbed an umbrella, and stepped out.

The driver had already received her message and was on his way.

Elizabeth walked through the rain-soaked villa district in her drenched high heels.

The wind was strong, making the umbrella sway. The rain felt icy on her bare legs.

By the time Elizabeth returned to Whispering Pines Estates, it was already early morning.

Exhausted and sleepy, she forced herself to her bedroom, undressed, and collapsed into bed.

The next morning, she woke up with a splitting headache and aching all over.

Her phone showed several missed calls.

She called Sarah.

Sarah's voice was filled with concern. "Elizabeth, how did it go with Michael last night? Did he blame you?"

Elizabeth's voice was calm, revealing no emotion. "He was angry with me. But being late and standing him up were my fault. I accept his anger and apologized."

Sarah could sense her unhappiness. "Elizabeth, Michael didn't forgive you?"

"I don't know. I left last night. He called me later, but I was asleep and had my phone on silent."

Sarah was indignant. "You must have had a good reason for being late! You apologized, and he still won't forgive you? What's his problem? Elizabeth, don't let him get away with this!"

"Yeah, I know, Sarah."

"We both had plans yesterday and didn't get to enjoy our shopping. Next time, we have to make the most of it!"

"Absolutely."

After hanging up, Elizabeth called her bodyguard.

"Ms. Jones, Quinn's family is here, causing a scene and refusing to leave. Do you want to come over?"

Elizabeth sighed, rubbing her forehead. "Okay, I'll be there soon. Make sure they don't get into Quinn's room."

The driver took Elizabeth to the hospital.

Jesse saw her and immediately tried to attack her.

"Elizabeth, what right do you have to keep Quinn here? Who do you think you are?"

The bodyguard blocked him. "Back off!"

Elizabeth looked at him coldly. "Quinn is in the hospital. How is that restricting his freedom? If anyone's been restricting his freedom, it's you! You not only took away his freedom but also abused him! Jesse, if you want to take Quinn, I suggest you talk to my lawyer first!"

Jesse glared, pointing a finger at her. "Elizabeth, you just wait! I won't let you get away with this!"

The bodyguard twisted Jesse's finger back forcefully.

Jesse clutched his arm, bending over in pain, screaming, "It hurts! Let go!"

Elizabeth signaled the bodyguard to release him. Jesse fell to the ground.

Philip stepped forward, grabbing Jesse and dragging him away.

Jesse continued to shout, "That idiot is still in their hands!"

Philip growled, "Do you think we can take on that bodyguard? Let's get out of here!"

Elizabeth entered Quinn's room. He was still shaken, his face pale.

Seeing Elizabeth, he grabbed her hand. "Dr. Jones! You're finally here! Take me away! Hide me! I don't want to see those two ever again! They're terrifying!"

Elizabeth patted his hand reassuringly. "The doctor will be here soon. I'll ask about your discharge."

Quinn clung to her hand, not letting go.

When the doctor arrived, Elizabeth asked if Quinn could be discharged. The doctor reviewed Quinn's reports, prescribed some medication, and approved his discharge.

Elizabeth had already arranged a place for Quinn to stay.

The Range Rover sped to the Thomas Villa.

Clio opened the door, surprised to see Quinn.

"Elizabeth, who is this?"

Elizabeth tugged Quinn's sleeve. "Quinn, say hi to Clio."

Quinn obediently greeted, "Hi, Clio."

Clio was still in shock.

"Elizabeth, Mr. Thomas is home today. He's in his room and seems to be in a bad mood."

Elizabeth walked straight in. "I'll go check on him."

She turned to Quinn. "Quinn, follow me and don't get lost."

Quinn followed closely behind her.

In the hall, Michael glared at them as they entered.

"Elizabeth, is this your way of apologizing? Bringing a stranger into my house without my permission?"

Elizabeth ignored him. She looked at Quinn. "Quinn, this is Michael."

Quinn, seeing Michael's angry expression, said nothing and hid behind Elizabeth.

Elizabeth frowned. "Michael, why are you being so harsh? You're scaring him!"

Michael was furious. "Elizabeth! This is my house!"

Elizabeth nodded. "I know! Otherwise, I wouldn't have come!"

Michael's chest heaved with anger.

Last night, after his shower, he had been full of tenderness, just wanting to hold Elizabeth and sleep.

But he couldn't find her anywhere in the villa.

He called her, but she didn't answer.

In such heavy rain, where could Elizabeth have gone? Was she worried about that man and went to the hospital again?

Now it seemed that was exactly what happened!

Elizabeth had been with him intimately and then ran to that man's side!
