Chapter 536 Lesson
Elizabeth's eyes widened in terror as she stared at him.
Victor approached with a sinister grin, grabbing her ankle and dragging her closer.
He cut the rope binding her feet with a knife and then casually tossed the knife behind him, embedding it in the cabinet door.
Elizabeth was about to breathe a sigh of relief when Victor grabbed her ankle again, forcefully spreading her legs apart.
She couldn't bear to look at herself in such a humiliating position.
Her desperate resistance was nothing more than a tickle to the burly man in front of her.
Victor yanked off his belt and let it fall beside Elizabeth. She screamed in fear.
Leaning over her, Victor sneered, "Elizabeth, how do you like this?"
Elizabeth shook her head frantically, her heart filled with despair and anger.
She silently called out for Michael, but she knew he wouldn't come.
Elizabeth didn't struggle. She knew the strength difference between her and Victor was too great. Resisting would be futile.
In the hospital room, Cordelia was still unconscious.
Gerald sat on the couch outside the room, his expression cold. He was waiting for Michael to arrive.
As expected, a bodyguard walked in and whispered, "Mr. Murphy, Michael is here."
"Let him in."
As soon as Gerald spoke, Michael strode in.
He stood in front of Gerald and gestured for the bodyguard to leave.
The bodyguard was about to step out when Gerald raised his hand to stop him.
"Why leave? Stay here."
Michael spoke in a low voice, "Gerald, I need to talk to you alone."
Gerald crossed one leg over the other, his posture relaxed and casual. "What can't be said in front of others? Or are you too embarrassed to say it?"
Michael didn't want to waste any more time. "Gerald, did you have Elizabeth kidnapped?"
Gerald glanced at him sideways. "Michael, you need to understand the situation. This is your wife Cordelia's hospital room. She risked her life to save you and is still unconscious. And you come here to trouble her father for another woman? Do you think that's appropriate?"
Michael was certain that Gerald had taken Elizabeth. Gerald must have known about what happened in the dressing room and wouldn't let them off easily.
Time was running out. Michael knelt in front of Gerald.
"Gerald, she's the mother of my three children. Please show some mercy and let her go. If this gets out, it will damage my reputation."
Gerald snorted. "She's just a woman you slept with. What's the rush? As for the children, you and Cordelia are married. You can have more children in the future. Let Elizabeth continue to raise the ones in Aurora Bay. You just stay with the Murphy family and be my right-hand man."
He stood up and patted Michael's shoulder lightly. "Michael, as long as you're loyal to me, I won't treat you badly. Get up. If people see this, they'll think I'm being harsh on you."
Michael didn't move. "Gerald, are you not going to let Elizabeth go?"
Gerald spoke slowly. "I'll let her go, but not now." He glanced at his watch. "You need to give Victor some time. How can he have his fun in such a short time?"
Michael's heart sank.
Elizabeth was in Victor's hands.
Gerald's expression grew colder. "Since she's so important to you, I can't let her go easily. You publicly humiliated Cordelia, so I have to teach her a lesson. Otherwise, she'll think the Murphy family is easy to mess with. As for you, Michael, since you married Cordelia, you should treat her well and not make her sad. She's my only daughter."
Michael frowned but said nothing.
Gerald walked to the door. "Tonight, you don't need to go anywhere. Stay here and watch over Cordelia." With that, he left the room.
As soon as Michael heard the door close, he stood up and took out his phone, dialing Juan's number.
In Majestic City, Juan was the only one he could turn to.
In the underground palace of the Murphy Manor, Victor's hand was already reaching for Elizabeth's chest.
She suddenly shouted, "Victor!"
Victor looked at her, signaling her to continue. "Looks like you have a lot of energy. That's good."
Elizabeth tried to evade his grasp. "Victor! Do you know Juan?"
Victor paused. "Of course, he's my uncle."
He started unbuttoning her shirt. "Why are you bringing him up? It's none of your business."
Elizabeth continued, "Victor! I'm Juan's woman! I'm his woman!"
Victor sat back on the bed, laughing. "Elizabeth, what nonsense are you spouting? Do you even know Uncle Juan? Don't try to make connections. I'm warning you, he's not as easygoing as I am. If he finds out you're falsely claiming to know him, you won't even know how you died! If you stick with me, I can find you a position in the Murphy Group."
Elizabeth tried to cover her chest with her arms. "Victor! Call Juan! Now! If Juan finds out you touched his woman, he won't let you off!"
Victor snorted. "Elizabeth, I underestimated you! Fine, I'll call Uncle Juan. I want to see how you die at his hands. But first, I'll have my fun."
Victor put the call on speaker.
Juan's lazy voice came through.
"Victor, why are you calling me so late?"
"Uncle Juan, do you know Elizabeth?"
Juan paused. "Why? Did you mess with her?"
"Uncle Juan, Elizabeth is in my hands now. She's begging me, saying she's your woman. I didn't believe her, so I called to confirm."
"In your hands? Did you kidnap her?"
Victor quickly denied it. "No, no. I was worried she might be telling the truth and didn't want to upset you."
"What did she do to the Murphy family?"
Victor straightened up. "She was on our yacht, having sex with Michael in the dressing room! My dad found out and told me to teach her a lesson!"
Juan snorted. "Teach her a lesson? You think you're capable? Michael is her husband. Why can't they have sex? Do they need your permission?"
Victor was speechless. "Uncle Juan..."
Juan continued calmly. "Victor, why don't you ask me how she got on your family's yacht in the first place?"
