Chapter 293 Handsome Man at the Club

As soon as Daniel got the message, he sprinted to the CEO's office. He didn't even bother knocking and barged right in.

Michael was puzzled, wondering why Elizabeth had suddenly become so cold towards him. Seeing Daniel burst in like a cannonball startled him.

He frowned, his face showing clear annoyance. "Daniel, have you lost your mind?"

Daniel didn't respond to his question. Instead, he stepped forward and shoved his phone's message screen in Michael's face.

Daniel's eyes were wide, and he pointed at his phone. "Mr. Thomas, you gotta see this."

Michael skeptically took the phone. "What's so important on your phone?"

Despite his skepticism, he glanced at Daniel's phone.

He knew Daniel was close with Dean. The two often exchanged messages.

After reading the message, Michael looked at Daniel. "This is from Dean? What does it mean?"

Daniel shook his head quickly, almost dislodging his glasses. "Mr. Thomas, I don't get it either."

Michael, however, connected it to the call he had just received from Elizabeth.

She had said she dialed the wrong number.

That was definitely a lie.

Dean mentioned she was going to handle some trouble. What trouble?

Had she originally intended to ask for his help but changed her mind after hearing his cold tone?

Michael cursed himself internally.

He stood up. "Daniel, contact Dean and get him to send you his location. Also, have him explain the situation. We need to determine if Elizabeth is in danger."

Daniel nodded and took back his phone, immediately dialing Dean.

The call connected quickly.

"Daniel, why are you calling me? Don't tell me you're as heartless as your jerk of a boss?"

Daniel glanced nervously at Michael, who was standing beside him with a displeased expression, and didn't dare to respond.

Michael spoke up. "Dean, I can hear you."

Dean raised his voice even more. "So what if you can hear me? I want you to hear! You two-faced liar! All you do is deceive Elizabeth!"

Daniel was about to speak when his phone was suddenly snatched from his hand by Michael.

Joshua started the car and drove out of the parking lot.

Michael's face remained impassive. "Dean, send me your location."

Dean's tone was hostile. "Fine! I'll send it right now!"

Michael opened the navigation app and directed Joshua. "Head here."

Joshua responded, "Yes, Mr. Thomas."

Michael tossed the phone back to Daniel. "Keep calling him, and ask what the hell they're up to."

Daniel took the phone, nodded, and dialed Dean again. "Dean, Mr. Thomas wants to know..."

The phone was snatched again.

Daniel was about to protest, but he swallowed his words. Elizabeth's safety was the priority right now.

Michael spoke into the phone. "Dean, tell me your plan for tonight."

In the Range Rover, Dean glanced at Elizabeth, who was focused on driving, and told Michael, "We're heading to Rattlesnake Café."

Michael was incredulous. "Did I hear that right? You two are going to a café at this hour and making such a big deal out of it?"

Dean's tone was serious. "The place we're actually going to is the Dark Private Club."

Michael's expression turned serious. "That club deals in all sorts of shady business."

Dean explained, "Jennifer somehow got introduced to the club and became a member. She often hires male models there."

Michael frowned deeply. "So, Elizabeth is going there to catch her in the act?"

Dean sighed. "Not exactly. Just to give her a little lesson."

Michael was concerned. "Have you planned this out? Going in unprepared, aren't you afraid of getting caught and beaten up?"

Dean replied, "We've made some arrangements."

He was following Elizabeth's lead. She called him, so he came.

Michael sighed internally. 'This foolish woman, claiming she isn't naive, yet acting like a headless chicken.'

He shook his head and instructed Joshua, "Speed up."

"Dean, tell Elizabeth to wear her Bluetooth earpiece. She must not show herself."

"Got it." Dean understood the gravity of the situation. Despite his reluctance to deal with Michael, he knew he was looking out for Elizabeth.

Michael put down Daniel's phone.

He took out his own phone and called his bodyguards. "Bring another car and follow us. Be ready for anything."

He hung up and leaned back, closing his eyes to rest.

Michael thought to himself, 'Elizabeth, you foolish woman, just wait for me and don't do anything reckless.'

Elizabeth parked the car near the back entrance of the café. The two of them entered through the back door and went straight to a private room on the third floor.

There was a knock on the door.

Dean called out, "Come in."

A waiter brought in coffee and desserts.

Elizabeth leaned into Dean's arms, and he wrapped an arm around her, making them look like a couple.

The waiter set down the items and quickly left, closing the door behind him.

Elizabeth and Dean moved to the window.

Elizabeth gently lifted a corner of the curtain and looked outside.

The streetlights were dim. Only a few cars were parked in front of the club across the street.

Elizabeth checked the time. There were still fifteen minutes until the scheduled time. She sat down and invited Dean, "Let's have some coffee first. See how it tastes."

Dean commented, "I hope the person we found is reliable."

He sat beside her, crossed his long legs, and leisurely sipped his coffee.

Elizabeth said, "I've heard that Vincent Woods is quite skilled. Many wealthy women are smitten with him."

Dean nodded. "He's a star at that club, known for his good looks."

Elizabeth remarked, "That old witch is lucky to have him."

After finishing her coffee, Elizabeth pressed the bell.

The waiter came in to refill their cups.

Elizabeth continued to pretend to be in Dean's arms.

As soon as the waiter left, Elizabeth and Dean stood up and went to the window.

Dean handed Elizabeth a pair of binoculars.

She called Michael. "I heard you followed us. Where are you?"

"I'm next to your car. I didn't get out. Waiting for your instructions."

Michael said, "Keep your earpiece on and stay on the line. I'm here, ready to assist."

Elizabeth asked, "You brought a car?"

Michael replied, "More than one."

Elizabeth was relieved. "Good."

Michael asked, "Are you planning a car crash?"

Elizabeth was surprised. "How did you know?"

Michael guessed, "Just a hunch."

'This foolish woman really is reckless,' he thought.

Michael asked, "Why not handle it inside the club?"

Elizabeth explained, "The club owner has powerful connections. I can't afford to offend them."

Michael smirked. So she knew when to back down. At least she had some sense.

Elizabeth continued, "If we confront her inside, it would be too obvious and involve too many people. It's unnecessary."

Michael agreed. "Alright. We'll do it your way."

At that moment, the hidden door of the club opened, and a couple emerged, embracing each other.

The man was young, with long legs, broad shoulders, and a slim waist, looking very fit.
