Chapter 535 Kidnapping
The men in black didn't waste any time and immediately attacked the two of them.
Elizabeth had no fighting skills whatsoever. Her bodyguard alone was no match for so many attackers.
In no time, the bodyguard was pinned to the ground, and Elizabeth was dragged into one of the cars.
Elizabeth struggled fiercely and shouted to her bodyguard, "Get Michael to save me!"
The car sped off with her inside.
The bodyguard, beaten and bruised, his clothes in disarray, looked a mess.
He heard Elizabeth's words and quickly pulled out his phone to call Michael, but the line was busy.
The bodyguard was frantic.
Suddenly, he spotted Elizabeth's phone, which must have fallen during the chaos.
He quickly picked it up. Michael's voice came through the phone.
"Elizabeth! Elizabeth! Say something! You called me, why aren't you speaking?"
The bodyguard shouted, "Mr. Thomas! Ms. Jones has been kidnapped! A group of men in black took her away in a car."
Michael's deep voice came through, "You're Elizabeth's bodyguard? Who took her? Did you see clearly?"
"I saw them, but I don't know who they are. However, I noticed a special emblem on one of their clothes, from the Murphy family."
Michael frowned, "The Murphy family?"
The bodyguard nodded vigorously, "Yes! I saw it on a yacht before."
Michael thought, 'This is Majestic City, and the only ones who would want to harm Elizabeth would be the Murphy family.'
Cordelia might act out of jealousy.
Gerald might act to protect his daughter. Victor could also be involved, even though he had no direct grudge against Elizabeth, Gerald or Cordelia might have asked him to handle it.
"Don't do anything rash. Go back to the hotel and wait for my instructions."
The bodyguard was anxious, "Mr. Thomas, can you save Ms. Jones?"
Michael didn't respond and hung up. He frowned deeply, considering his next move.
Gerald still needed him, so he wouldn't openly oppose him. But that didn't mean he wouldn't secretly go after Elizabeth.
Cordelia was injured and still in the hospital, so she likely didn't have the energy or means to arrange a kidnapping.
Given that Gerald knew about what happened between Michael and Elizabeth in the yacht's changing room, he would definitely seek revenge for Cordelia.
If Elizabeth fell into his hands, it wouldn't end well.
Michael decided to go see Gerald immediately.
In a room within the underground palace of Murphy Manor.
Elizabeth woke up groggily. She shook her head, trying to adjust to the dim light around her.
Her body ached, and as she tried to lift her arm to rub her neck, she realized her hands were tied behind her back. She tried to stand, but her feet were also bound.
Elizabeth strained to see her surroundings, but the room was too dark, like a dungeon.
She shifted slightly and realized she was on a bed with soft, smooth fabric.
Just as she was about to move again, the room suddenly lit up brightly.
She instinctively lowered her head to avoid the harsh light.
The door swung open, and Elizabeth looked towards it.
A tall, muscular man stood there, flanked by two bodyguards dressed in black.
Elizabeth frowned and gasped. She recognized this man.
The man approached her, grabbed her ankle, and yanked her towards him.
"Ms. Jones, surprised to see me?"
Elizabeth frowned, "Do you know me?"
Then she scoffed at herself, "Of course, if you didn't know me, why would you kidnap me?"
Victor laughed, "Ms. Jones, you're not stupid. I heard you have kids and a business in Aurora Bay. So why are you chasing after Michael and following him to Majestic City?"
Elizabeth looked away, "Why should I tell you about my business with him?"
Victor put one foot on the bed, resting his arm on his knee, and grabbed Elizabeth's chin with his other hand, forcing her to look up, "Elizabeth, you're in my hands now, and you still dare to talk to me like this? Are you looking for trouble?"
Elizabeth glared at him, "I know who you are. You're Cordelia's brother, Gerald's son. You're Victor."
Victor sneered, "Congratulations, you got it right! Now, it's time for your reward. Ms. Jones, what do you think I'll give you?"
Elizabeth shook her head, trying to escape his grip, "Let me go! Michael has amnesia! He doesn't remember me! To him, I'm just a stranger! I don't threaten your sister's happiness or your family's interests!"
Victor chuckled, "You? A 'stranger'? You must know Michael well. Would he sleep with a random stranger? If he were that casual, would you have loved him for so many years?"
"So what if I love Michael? He's married to Cordelia now! He's no longer my husband! If you think threatening my life will affect him, it won't! He doesn't care!"
Victor stepped back, standing by the bed, and began to undress.
He tossed his suit jacket to the floor.
Elizabeth watched him in horror.
Victor looked down at her like a predator eyeing its prey.
"Elizabeth, you should understand why I brought you here. You and Michael had the audacity to have sex on my family's yacht, as if the Murphy family were dead."
Victor started unbuttoning his shirt.
Elizabeth, terrified, kept backing away, "Mr. Murphy! I was wrong! I won't go after Michael anymore! Let me go! I'll leave Majestic City immediately and never come back!"
Victor finished unbuttoning his shirt and stood by the bed, hands on his hips, "Now you're scared? Where was this fear when you were moaning in the yacht's changing room with Michael? Since you like excitement so much, I'll give you something even more thrilling!"
Elizabeth, head down, feet pushing back, desperately tried to retreat.
"No! No! Mr. Murphy! Please! Let me go! I won't disturb Cordelia's happiness again!"
Victor climbed onto the bed, towering over her, "Too late! Do you see the camera above? I'm going to record myself raping you and send it to Michael. Let's see who can make you scream louder!"
Elizabeth felt utter despair.
Victor suddenly bent down and pulled a knife from his boot.
