Chapter 451 Hotel Sex

In the early hours of the morning, Elizabeth woke up.

Last night, she and Michael had turned in early. After a heated make-out session, Michael had carried her to bed. They were both eager, quickly shedding their clothes and getting down to business.

When their intense lovemaking finally ended, they were both exhausted. After a quick shower, they fell asleep almost immediately.

Next to her, Michael was still sound asleep. Elizabeth looked at his strong profile, recalling the previous night's passion, and felt her face flush and her heart race.

She was completely naked, lying next to him.

Unlike the sleepless nights of the past, where she was often tormented by nightmares and would wake up multiple times, this night had been sweet and restful.

She would dream of her mother's tragic death, of Michael's terrifying face as he tried to strangle Nolan, and of her father passing away in the hospital.

But this night, she had slept soundly.

Elizabeth leaned over and gently kissed Michael's cheek.

In the next second, Michael's eyes opened immediately. Seeing Elizabeth beside him, the wariness in his eyes softened into tenderness.

He turned towards her, gently caressing her cheek. "It's still early, why not sleep a bit more?"

Elizabeth snuggled back into his arms. Both of them were naked, their skin pressed together.

She raised her hand, touching his chest, feeling the warmth she had missed. "Maybe we went to bed too early. I slept enough and now I can't fall back asleep. Ever since Francis was born, I don't sleep as much."

Michael kissed her tenderly, his voice husky. "You've been through a lot."

As they lay close, Elizabeth felt the change in his body. She pretended not to notice and turned away from him.

Michael's desire was reignited, and he wasn't about to let her slip away so easily.

Outside, the sky was still dark, and a cool mountain breeze slipped through the slightly open window, gently stirring the curtains.

Even the earliest risers were still asleep at this hour.

The world was so quiet, it felt like they were the only two people awake.

Michael moved closer to her. Elizabeth could clearly feel his hard erection against her buttocks.

Maybe it was because she was in a foreign place, in the quiet of the early morning, that she no longer wanted to hide her desires.

Following her instincts, she leaned back, pressing her buttocks more firmly against his erection.

Michael felt her silent invitation and acceptance. His breath suddenly became uneven. He reached out his hand, touching her vulva, and found it wet with arousal.

He exhaled heavily, flipping her over and pressing her down again.

They kissed passionately, losing themselves in each other, as if nothing else mattered.

They made love intensely, their moans of pleasure filling the air, as if they were the only two people in the world.

Elizabeth thought, let them be in paradise. She didn't want to worry about the world's constraints. She wanted to make love fiercely, even if tomorrow they had to return to the chaotic world.

She was intoxicated, enjoying herself, reaching the peaks of pleasure again and again with Michael.

After their passionate encounter, they fell asleep again. When they woke up, it was already eight in the morning.

Michael woke up first, looking at Elizabeth's sleeping face with tenderness.

He gently called her, "Elizabeth."

Birds chirped outside the window.

Elizabeth slowly woke up, glancing at the sunlight streaming through the window.

"Michael, what time is it?"

"Eight o'clock. We should get up."

Elizabeth sat up, feeling the soreness in her body.

She playfully complained to Michael, "Did you break me apart last night?"

Michael handed her clothes to her, chuckling. "Last night, I don't know which woman was trying to devour me whole."

They got dressed and freshened up.

Elizabeth was about to get the contract from her bag when Michael stopped her. "Do you have a backup contract?"

Elizabeth shook her head. "There's another one, the previous letter of intent. It's already signed."

Michael nodded. "That'll do. It can pass for the real thing."

Elizabeth looked up at him. "Michael, are we in danger? Tell me your plan."

Her expression was calm, no longer as fearful and helpless as yesterday.

Michael held her shoulders. "Nathan, following someone's orders, wants to kill both of us. Not only that, he plans to blow up everyone at the signing event."

Elizabeth's face changed. "That's insane."

Michael's eyes were determined. "I've arranged for a helicopter. They're waiting at the foot of the mountain, ready to go. Last night, I had Ronnie bring in bomb disposal experts. They should already be at the venue."

"Elizabeth, I won't let you be in danger. Nathan has probably already stationed people around us, watching our every move. We need to act like we don't know anything. Just go about our day as usual."

Elizabeth nodded. "Okay, I trust you."

She sent Shelly down the mountain first. "Shelly, there's an emergency at the office. The secretarial team is overwhelmed. You need to go back and help right away."

Half-asleep, Shelly quickly packed her things, caught a cab, and rushed to the airport.

Elizabeth put away her phone. "Shelly has left without any trouble."

Michael nodded. "She's your personal assistant. Nathan wouldn't dare stop her. He doesn't want to raise suspicion. Otherwise, his plan would be ruined."

They embraced and left the room.

At nine o'clock, Elizabeth arrived outside the signing venue. Michael was with her.

She leaned against him, pretending they were whispering sweet nothings.

"Michael, it's almost ten. More and more people are arriving. It'll be hard to evacuate them all."

"I'm waiting for a call. Nico and his team are already inside. They're working on it."

"If it were just the two of us, we could just run. But there are so many innocent people here. Nathan is truly insane."

"Elizabeth, if it weren't for you, I wouldn't care about a room full of strangers."

"Michael, you always seem so cold-hearted. But I don't mind it at all. You're cold to others, but you've always been good to me."

She leaned into his embrace a bit more.

The phone rang. Michael answered immediately.

"Mr. Thomas, all the bombs have been defused. The venue is safe."

Michael breathed a sigh of relief. "Good work."

"Mr. Thomas, we're leaving now."

"Okay."

He hung up and gently held Elizabeth's waist. "They did it. The danger is over. Now, I need to deal with Nathan. Your contract won't be signed today."

Elizabeth didn't mind. "It's a bit of a shame, but I value my life more. If I'm dead, no amount of money matters."

Michael nodded in agreement. "Wait for me. We'll go down the mountain together. I have something to tell you."
