Chapter 540 Seducing Him

Michael couldn't believe it. He clicked on other time slots in the video. Those videos played just fine.

Nolan's hacking skills were so advanced, it would be easy for him to make these videos disappear.

This only further proved that the child was indeed Nolan.

Michael pulled out his phone and immediately called Elizabeth, even though it was almost midnight.

He was sure Elizabeth wasn't asleep.

Sure enough, the phone barely rang before Elizabeth answered.

"Michael, did you find Nolan?"

Michael paused. "No. He left the Bright Hotel. He must have seen me there and realized it was owned by the Murphy family. He probably went to another hotel."

Elizabeth sighed. "I've called him so many times, but he's deliberately not answering."

Michael was slightly angry. "This Nolan, he has no idea what he's getting into."

Elizabeth quickly defended Nolan. "He's probably worried about me, that's why he came. Once I find him, I'll convince him to go back as soon as possible."

"Majestic City is on the border; it's not safe here. You need to leave quickly too. Don't make me repeat myself."

Elizabeth asked softly, "Michael, are you worried about me?"

Michael didn't answer her question. Instead, he asked, "Where are you?"

Elizabeth glanced at the hospital room. "I'm outside."

"I'm at the Bright Hotel. Meet me at the entrance. We'll look for Nolan together."

"Michael, aren't you afraid Gerald will come after you?"

"Just hurry up and find Nolan, send him back. Don't worry about me."

Elizabeth hung up the phone, immediately pulled out the IV needle, changed out of her hospital gown, and hurried out.

The bodyguard called after her, "Ms. Jones, where are you going in the middle of the night?"

Elizabeth didn't have time to explain. "Go to the hotel and wait for me. Let me know as soon as you hear anything about Nolan."

The bodyguard was worried. "The security here isn't good. It's not safe for you to go out alone at night."

Elizabeth insisted, "I'm afraid if I leave, and Nolan comes looking for me at the hotel, he'll miss me."

The bodyguard thought to himself, 'He's not even answering your calls, how likely is it he'll come looking for you?'

He sighed and left the hospital, heading back to the hotel.

Just as Elizabeth was about to hail a cab at the hospital entrance, Michael called again. "Where are you? I'll pick you up."

Elizabeth was taken aback. "No need. I'll take a cab."

"Address."

Elizabeth had no choice but to tell him, "Hospital entrance."

Michael frowned. "What were you doing at the hospital? Are you sick?"

Elizabeth didn't want him to worry. Besides, she didn't think it was a big deal, just a sudden fainting spell.

"Nothing serious, probably just a bit tired, maybe low blood sugar."

"This isn't a place you can stay long. Find Nolan and leave with him immediately. Don't make me repeat myself. I don't have that much patience."

Elizabeth just wanted to calm him down. "Okay."

"Hope you mean it."

A car pulled up in front of Elizabeth. She quickly got in and asked, "Where do we start looking for him?"

Michael glanced at her. "There's no record of him at the Bright Hotel or the Triumph Hotel. We'll check other places. You look pale."

Elizabeth touched her face. "I haven't been sleeping well. Michael, are you planning not to come back with me?"

Michael's eyes were full of sarcasm. "Why would I go back with you? To get revenge on you?"

Elizabeth grabbed his arm. "Michael, you know that's not what I mean. Gerald set you up, erased your memories of me. I don't blame you. I know it wasn't your intention. I'm just glad you still remember Nolan, that he's your son. I should be content."

"But I'm greedy. I'm afraid you'll forget our love, forget me. Cordelia took a bullet for you. I'm afraid you'll fall in love with her out of gratitude. You're already married to her. Are you planning to stay with her forever and never return to Aurora Bay?"

Elizabeth's voice grew softer.

Michael lifted her hand off his arm. "Cordelia is very good to me. She's kind, beautiful, and gentle. I'm happy to have married her."

Tears welled up in Elizabeth's eyes. "So, will you make love to her and have children with her too?"

Michael turned his head, avoiding her gaze.

The driver, sensing the tension, raised the partition.

Michael didn't stop him.

Elizabeth moved closer, grabbing his arm again. "Michael, you're mine. You can't be too close to other women. Not even Cordelia. I know she's beautiful and has a great figure. You can't lose control."

Michael sighed. "Aren't you looking for Nolan?"

Elizabeth sat back. "Of course, we need to find him."

Michael adjusted his clothes. "Actually, he's safe for now. I found a reservation under a fake name at the Bright Hotel that might be him."

Elizabeth turned, puzzled. "Might be?"

Michael nodded. "Nolan used a fake identity to check in. Unless we specifically look for him, it's like finding a needle in a haystack."

Elizabeth breathed a sigh of relief. "So, he must have checked into another hotel under a different name? Unless the Murphy family knows he's here, they won't find him easily?"

Michael nodded. "For now, yes. We don't need to worry about Nolan immediately. But to avoid any complications, we need to get him back soon. I don't want him staying on the Murphy family's turf for too long. I'll always be worried."

Elizabeth slowly moved closer. "Thank you, Michael, thank you for thinking of him."

Michael gently pushed her away. "Don't get so close to me."

Elizabeth grabbed his hand and pressed it to her chest. "Michael, don't you miss me after all these days?"

She had already unbuttoned her shirt, pressing his hand directly onto her breast.

Michael tried to pull his hand back, growling, "Elizabeth! Let go!"

Elizabeth held his hand tightly, using his pulling force to throw herself onto him.

She looked up at him. Michael pressed his lips tightly together, looking outside.

Elizabeth straightened up, sitting on his lap, cupping his face with both hands.

"Michael, look at me. Tell me, do you really not miss me?"

Elizabeth pressed her lips to Michael's, kissing him repeatedly, whispering, "But I miss you so much, so very much. The thought of losing you makes me feel like I'm dying."

Elizabeth's hand moved to Michael's neck, holding him, exposing her breasts completely in front of him.

"Michael, why won't you look at me? Is it because Cordelia's body is better than mine?"

Michael's tightly closed eyes finally opened.
