After Carter finished his song and stepped off the stage, he was immediately surrounded by a throng of ecstatic fans.

Elizabeth looked down and murmured, "Michael, what's going on? Not long ago, you wanted to strangle me. Why are you suddenly giving me such an expensive gift today?"
Hearing this, Michael didn't know how to respond. "That was then, this is now. Just take it," he said.
However, Elizabeth got angry, shoved the box back into his hands, and turned to leave.

Elizabeth looked at him coldly. "Are you giving me this gift because I'm carrying your child? Is this your reward for me as a surrogate?"

Michael felt hurt hearing this. "Elizabeth, I didn't…"

Michael asked, "Why doesn't she like my gifts? Does she hate me?"
Matthew decided to dig a little deeper. "When you kiss her, does she resist?"
Michael answered without hesitation, "No, she likes it."
Matthew rolled his eyes internally, thinking, 'Show-off.'
He said, "So, she doesn't hate you. In fact, she likes you. Otherwise, she would've punched you by now."
Michael said, "But she keeps bringing up Calla…"
Hearing this, Matthew explained, "If she's so concerned about Calla, it means she is jealous. She cares about you, which is why she's bothered by your past with other women."
Michael protested, "But she knows there's no real feeling between Calla and me! I was forced into that!"
Matthew asked, "Who forced you? Eloise? Elizabeth?"
Michael fell silent at Matthew's words.
Matthew spoke earnestly, "Michael, the issues between you are things only you truly understand. Others don't know the full story. How can you expect them to empathize?"
Hearing this, Michael gripped his phone tightly.
Matthew continued, "You want Elizabeth to understand you, but you're with Eloise, dating Calla, and thinking about Elizabeth all at once?"
Michael said, "Matthew, you know Eloise is my sister."
Matthew replied, "Michael, I only recently learned about Eloise's identity. I don't know what happened to her that made you hide her for so many years. But think about it, does Elizabeth know these things? If you don't tell her, she'll always misunderstand you. You'll never resolve your conflicts."
However, Michael was still struggling internally. "But I don't want more people to know about Eloise's condition. It's not fair to her."
