Chapter 115 Eloise Was Like a in Her Heart

The woman flashed a sweet smile at Nolan and whispered, "I saw everything just now. You're incredible. You can totally help me."

She clung to Nolan's arm, "Only you can save me. Clio told me that tomorrow someone’s gonna shove me into a cold room, knock me out, and then cut open my head. If they do that, I'll die. I don't wanna die, so I need to get out of here. You're amazing, can you help me escape?"

Nolan frowned. What was this woman talking about? Why did she look like she was in her twenties but talk like a little kid?

In the Thomas Villa's study, Calla was sitting on the sofa,

Michael usually didn't let anyone into his study. But now he had invited Calla in, which showed how much he valued her.

He handed Eloise's medical records to Calla. "These are all the tests Eloise has had, plus all the treatments and rehab she's been through."

Calla took the records, sat down, and started flipping through them carefully.

Michael sat in another chair and continued, "Eloise has been intellectually disabled since birth. Her IQ is like that of a three-year-old. Her body is weak, and her immune system is poor, so she gets sick easily. Ms. Griffin, I hope you can help her, even if it's just a little improvement in her intelligence. I want her to experience the beauty of this world with me. She's suffered so much and has never seen the beautiful side of life."

Calla looked up. "Mr. Thomas, these medical records and test reports aren't enough. I need to see her in person to fully assess her condition and come up with a complete treatment plan."

Michael frowned.

Calla asked, "What's wrong, Mr. Thomas? Is it inconvenient for me to see her in person?"

Michael quickly replied, "No, it's not that. Eloise is currently at Global Horizons International School. She doesn't usually stay at home."

Calla stood up. "Let's head there now. I want to see her as soon as possible so I can start helping her."

Michael gave her a grateful look. "Ms. Griffin, thank you. You can name your price."

Calla said, "Let's talk about that after I see her. I haven't met her yet, so I'm not sure if I can help. If I can't, I won't take any money. But if I can, I will definitely ask for a lot."

Michael said in a low voice, "Ms. Griffin, I prefer clear and upfront pricing."

Calla looked at him calmly and said, "Alright, I'll send my account details to your phone shortly."

This reassured Michael.

The driver took Michael and Calla to Global Horizons International School.

Unlike its usual orderly state, today the school was in chaos.

Michael frowned and went straight to the principal's office. But the principal wasn't there.

Michael called him, "Where is Eloise? I need to see her now."

The principal spoke hesitantly on the phone.

Finally, the principal's assistant couldn't hold back and told the principal to speak the truth.

The principal finally said, "Just now, Eloise went missing. She's not in her room, and she's not in any of the places she usually goes."

The principal didn't mention that all the school's surveillance cameras had malfunctioned earlier, making it impossible to track Eloise's whereabouts.

The caregiver, Clio Webb, who usually looked after Eloise, was crying her eyes out, saying, "I failed Ms. Thomas."

Clio was someone Michael trusted; she had been with the Thomas family for over 20 years.

Michael supported Clio. He knew she had always taken good care of Eloise. This time, Eloise's disappearance was certainly not Clio's fault.

Clio cried, "Mr. Thomas, could Ms. Thomas have been kidnapped?"

Michael frowned. It wasn't impossible. If that were true, he would make the person responsible regret ever being born. But the most important thing was to find Eloise first.

Clio continued crying, "Mr. Thomas, it's all my fault. I shouldn't have told her about the surgery in advance. She heard they are going to cut open her head and got scared and ran away. Now I'm worried about Ms. Thomas..."

Clio suddenly remembered something and turned to the principal, asking, "Sir, is there a lot of water in the campus lake right now?"

Michael's body shook when he heard this. No, it couldn't be. The worst he had imagined was Eloise being kidnapped. He hadn't considered that Eloise could face so many other dangers—she could drown, get hit by a car, or even jump off a rooftop.

Each possibility was unacceptable to Michael. He clutched his chest, feeling a pain so intense he could hardly breathe. Eloise was the most important person in the world to him; she couldn't be harmed.

At that moment, a call came from the school's security office. Half an hour earlier, all the surveillance systems in the security office had gone black, so all the security personnel had been urgently dispatched to the monitoring room. As a result, the guard on duty at the gate was not at his post.

Michael concluded that Eloise had disappeared within that half-hour window. She must have taken advantage of the empty security office, or the person who took her had used the opportunity to leave Global Horizons International School with her.

Michael felt dizzy and plopped down onto a chair. Eloise was his life. If something happened to her, he couldn't imagine what he would become. Would he go crazy?

She was safest at Global Horizons International School. If she left the school alone, with her intelligence and appearance, Michael couldn't imagine what might happen if she encountered someone with bad intentions.

He decisively called the police and asked them to check the surveillance footage on the roads near Global Horizons International School. He had to find Eloise as quickly as possible. He couldn't let anything happen to her. Otherwise, he would go crazy.

Whispering Pines Estates.

It wasn't even time for school to be out yet, but Nolan had taken a cab back. Not only had he returned, but he also had a woman in her twenties with him.

Elizabeth was shocked to see Eloise in a pink princess-style dress, following behind Nolan. Yes, she was the one who had always existed in Michael's phone and computer photo albums and had also appeared in Elizabeth's nightmares.

Eloise was like a thorn in Elizabeth's heart and an insurmountable barrier between her and Michael.
