Chapter 358 Revenge

He quickly added, "Mr. Ramirez, we didn't mean to invade our guests' privacy. It's just that the online video incident involves our hotel, so I paid special attention to it."

Elizabeth chimed in, "Was her belly big?"

The security guard was momentarily stunned but quickly understood who Elizabeth was referring to.

He hurriedly replied, "The surveillance video shows that the woman was very slim."

Aiden asked, "Was there a man in her room?"

The security guard hesitated, "Mr. Ramirez, this involves guest privacy, and I am not authorized to disclose that."

Elizabeth thought to herself, 'The way the security guard put it, there must have been a man in that room.'

She pretended to be confused, "I've already reported this to the police. They will be here soon to retrieve the surveillance footage."

Aiden told the security guard, "Bring the manager from the banquet that night up here."

The security guard left.

A few minutes later, a young, professional-looking woman in business attire walked in.

"Mr. Ramirez, you wanted to see me?"

"Cara Bailey, did you arrange the waitstaff for the Sunday night banquet?"

"Yes, Mr. Ramirez." She handed Aiden a tablet, "Here is the list and photos of the waitstaff from that night. Please take a look, Mr. Ramirez."

Aiden took the tablet and handed it to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth flipped through the photos one by one. She pointed to a young man, "This guy handed me a drink. After I drank it, I felt something was off."

Aiden gave Cara a slight nod, and Cara immediately came over to Elizabeth's side.

After a quick glance, she said, "Mr. Ramirez, this is Derek Campbell. He just started at the hotel last month and hasn't completed his probation period. After the video incident, he resigned immediately, claiming he had a family emergency. He even abandoned his previous phone number."

'So, they had planned this all along.' Elizabeth thought.

Elizabeth said, "Mr. Ramirez, please inform the police about this. Once Derek is caught, we can clear our names."

Aiden sighed, "The problem still lies with our hotel."

Cara lowered her head, "Mr. Ramirez, it's my fault for not recognizing the issue and hiring the wrong person, causing trouble for the hotel and Ms. Jones."

Aiden looked at her, "You were deceived as well. However, there will still be consequences. The most important thing now is to cooperate with Ms. Jones and the police to get to the bottom of this and clear Ms. Jones' name, as well as restore our hotel's reputation."

Cara kept her head down, "Yes, Mr. Ramirez, I will fully cooperate."

When the police arrived, Elizabeth, as the victim, finally saw the complete video.

It turned out that not only was she drugged that night, but Michael also seemed off. Margaret had helped him into a room, and they didn't come out for a long time.

What exactly happened between them?

A man and a woman alone in a room. When Michael came out, his clothes were disheveled.

Anyone who saw that would have their suspicions, right?

Elizabeth felt a chill in her heart.

Did Michael know about Margaret's trap that night? Did he allow her to do this?

The video made everything clear.

Matthew had been eavesdropping outside Octavia's room for a long time, with Margaret standing beside him.

Matthew's presence there was likely orchestrated by Margaret. She did it on purpose to find a witness.

She could use Matthew to tell Michael about it, inciting his anger, while she remained unscathed.

On one side, there were all kinds of online insults and attacks, and on the other, pressure from Matthew, a long-time friend, all pushing Michael to abandon Elizabeth.

Did Margaret think she could have Michael all to herself that way?

Elizabeth sneered. Margaret was too naive.

There were plenty of women in the world, not just her, Elizabeth.

Did Margaret plan to deal with every woman Michael might like in the future? Did she think that by eliminating all the women around Michael, she could finally be with him?

She didn't even consider that Michael had made it clear he didn't like her. No matter what Margaret did, no matter how hard she tried, Michael would never like her.

Instead of causing trouble, she should seek treatment for her mental issues.

Aiden kept apologizing, "I'm really sorry, Ms. Jones. This incident happened at our Ramirez family hotel, causing you such injustice. It's a significant oversight in our hotel's management. I will make sure to rectify this."

"As for you, Ms. Jones, you will be our hotel's super VIP from now on. The Jones Group's home service robots just had a program upgrade, right? We need a new batch of robots for our housekeeping services. I will personally visit you to sign a big contract."

Elizabeth accepted his goodwill, "Mr. Ramirez, you're straightforward. You also took the blame for someone else this time. I won't hold it against you. As for the contract, if you're genuinely interested in cooperation, The Jones Group warmly welcomes it."

With the video incident clarified, the rest was left to the police.

Elizabeth left, and Dean was waiting for her at the hotel entrance.

Dean didn't understand why she was leaving so quickly, "Elizabeth, don't walk so fast. Wait for me."

Elizabeth walked briskly ahead, "I can't slow down. I have something to do."

Dean caught up with her, "What is it?"

Elizabeth's expression didn't change, "Revenge. Call the bodyguards and have them meet us at the entrance of Stellar Enterprises. The sooner, the better."

Dean immediately made the call.

An hour later, a group of bodyguards surrounded Elizabeth and Dean in the lobby of Stellar Enterprises.

The bodyguards, all dressed in black, looked fierce and intimidating.

The receptionist, seeing that Elizabeth was leading the group, didn't dare to stop them and watched as they entered the elevator.

After all, she was carrying Michael's child, who might be the future sole heir of Stellar Enterprises.

Who would dare stop her?

After she entered the elevator, the receptionist quickly called Daniel, "Mr. Taylor, Ms. Jones from The Jones Group brought a group of bodyguards upstairs, looking very aggressive. Should we call the police?"

Daniel looked annoyed, "What are you thinking? Do you want Mr. Thomas's heir to have a criminal record before they're even born? Are you out of your mind?"

The receptionist didn't dare say another word.

Daniel said, "Alright, just ignore it. Pretend you didn't see anything."

Elizabeth headed straight to the top floor, to Michael's office.

None of the secretaries dared to stop her.

If she got upset and something happened to the baby, who could bear the responsibility?

Elizabeth turned to the bodyguards, "Stay outside. No need to come in."

She knocked on the door three times, then pushed it open without waiting for a response.

Matthew was in the middle of reporting the company's financial status for the past two weeks to Michael.

Both of them looked up, stunned to see her storming in with such a fierce demeanor.
