Chapter 125 Loren Knew About Summer

Emily shot a quick look at the chick behind her.

The chick had a mask on and a hoodie pulled up, totally hiding her face.

All Emily knew was her last name was Johnson, she was loaded, and she hated Aurora just as much as she did.

The cash from the last charity event came from this chick, saving Emily from a major facepalm moment.

"Ms. Johnson, this is a mess. I tried using Mark to mess up Aurora, but it blew up in my face," Emily said, thinking back to her time in detention. "Mark totally failed. We still don't know who Aurora's fling was with."

"Oh?" Sandra's eyes sparkled under the mask. "What about the kid?"

"Only Dean knows." Emily hinted. "The kid's not dead, Ms. Johnson. If you wanna find Aurora's kid, talk to Dean. But he won't spill easily; you'll need to push him."

Sandra saw right through Emily's plan to use her against Dean.

Sandra sneered. "Dean ain't your real dad, but he raised you. You're cold."

"He was a jerk first, so don't blame me," Emily snapped, eyes blazing with hate. "He hit my mom and cut me off. Now, neither the Taylor nor Harris families want me. It's all because of Dean and Aurora."

Sandra's eyes also filled with hate at the mention of Aurora.

John dumped Sandra for Aurora. Even her sister never got such favoritism from John, so why should Aurora?

Emily wanted Aurora gone ASAP but was worried about John.

"Aurora's got the Lewis family backing her. Can we really take her on?" Emily asked, "But she cares about that kid, Loren. We could go after him."

Sandra sneered. "Aurora thinks John likes her? His heart's somewhere else. Aurora's good days are numbered; she's coming back soon."

Emily was puzzled. "Ms. Johnson, who's coming back?"

Aurora crashed at the Robinsons' for a night and took Loren out early the next morning.

She wasn't planning to send Loren to school yet, wanting him to chill and find a new preschool later.

Aurora took Loren to the Lewis Mansion, thinking it would keep him busy.

As she drove out, she spotted Leo's car in the rearview mirror. She slowed down. "Where you headed?"

Leo, looking sharp, rolled down his window. "Got a date."

Aurora teased, "Which unlucky girl this time?"

"Can you not be so harsh? I'm the Robinson heir, worth billions. Any girl would be lucky." Leo exaggeratedly ran his fingers through his hair, feeling great. He asked Loren, "Loren, do I look handsome today?"

Loren leaned against the window. "Leo, Sophia doesn't like flashy types."

"Sophia?" Aurora almost hit the gas wrong. "Leo, are you dating Sophia?"

"Yeah, I'm officially going after Sophia now. She's your best friend. Can you put in a good word for me?"

Aurora shot him down. "You're not good enough for Sophia. No way."

"We're close; how can you not believe in me?" Leo looked deflated. "Am I that bad?"

"Look at all the dumb stuff you've done and all your flings. You’ve got enough exes to start a soccer team. If you win over Sophia, pigs must be flying." Aurora couldn't believe Leo could be serious about Sophia.

Leo had a rep as a playboy with a terrible track record.

Leo muttered, "John's married three times and he's a player, too. Why are you still with him?"

"Our friendship is over." Aurora shot Leo a look and floored it.

Aurora drove straight to the Lewis Mansion.

When she got there and parked, she felt something was off.

She saw James and asked, "James, has someone come? Or did something happen?"

"Ms. Torres is in the hospital again." James sighed. "The Lewis family is already in chaos, and Ms. Torres is just adding to it."

"I'll go upstairs to see John." Aurora took Loren upstairs.

Todd happened to be coming down and greeted them with a smile. "Hey, kiddo, you're here early."

Loren ignored Todd and turned his head away.

"Oh." Todd laughed. "Giving me the cold shoulder, huh? Come on, I'll take you to a fun place. You'll meet someone your age who's really amazing and even better looking than you."

Todd's last words were meant to provoke Loren.

"No." Loren refused flatly. "Not interested. I am the best looking."

"What's up with Loren today?" Todd noticed something was off. Loren usually didn't act this way.

"Loren is a bit upset today. Just let him stay with me." Aurora lovingly ruffled Loren's hair. Loren was still brooding over yesterday.

"John is discussing something with Gary." Todd cautiously looked around and whispered to Aurora, "The time is almost here."

Aurora knew what Todd meant. It seemed Rex and his son were making moves.

Even though John was the head of the Lewis family, he needed a good reason to boot Rex and his son from the company.

"Alright, I'll wait in the hall for a bit." Aurora sat with Loren on the hall sofa and asked a servant to bring some snacks for Loren.

Todd had things to do and said, "Okay, I'll be off then."

"Mr. Smith," Aurora called out, "Is Summer with you?"

Summer?

Loren, who had been munching on fruit, immediately looked up, his eyes lighting up.

Wa it his brother?

Todd said, "Summer is training at the Meadow Brook Villa. This kid is so disciplined. Even when the boss gives him a break, he insists on training for four hours a day."

Loren suddenly shouted, "Aurora, Todd, I want to go to the Meadow Brook Villa."

Todd laughed. "Didn't you just say you didn't want to go? Why the change of heart?"

"I want to go." Loren eagerly grabbed Todd's hand. "Todd, take me there."

Todd looked at Aurora. "Ms. White, what do you think?"

Loren was acting a bit unusual, and Aurora didn't know why he was so insistent on going to the Meadow Brook Villa.

Aurora said, "Mr. Smith, take him there. Summer is at the Meadow Brook Villa, so he'll have some company."
