Chapter 156 Aurora Admitted She Had Kids

John's song lyrics were so simple, yet they hid his deep love for Aurora.

Aurora watched John on stage, thinking how amazing and cute he was.

All this, just because of something she said. He'd call her pretentious but still go along with her whims.

Aurora felt like she was floating on a cloud. Right now, she was the one everyone envied and admired.

In the crowd, Emily's eyes were burning with jealousy.

She hated Aurora's high-profile, superior attitude. She hated that Aurora had John's affection. But Emily wasn't the only one feeling this way.

In the corner, Chris, sitting in his wheelchair, was also envious. Today, Aurora was the star, the dazzling princess.

John and Aurora together looked like a perfect match.

Chris was jealous. He gripped his empty pant leg tightly. He didn't have a left leg, and for the first time, he felt ashamed in front of Aurora.

Sandra glanced at them and walked to the side to call Emily. "Why haven't you done anything yet? Are you just going to let Aurora steal the show?"

Emily was smart. She guessed Ms. Johnson was there too, but with so many people, she couldn't tell who it was.

Ms. Johnson always wore a mask, and Emily had never seen her real face.

"John protects her so much that even if I show the paternity test, it won't matter." Emily wasn't dumb. She'd already lost a finger over this and wasn't about to risk more. She knew if she ruined the party, she'd probably end up dead. She hated Aurora and didn't want her to shine, but she knew how to protect herself.

Sandra was furious. "Useless woman."

"Ms. Johnson, I'm just a small fry. I haven't been able to hurt Aurora before. Maybe you should expose her out-of-wedlock child." Emily played the weak card on the phone.

If Sandra hated Aurora too, why should Emily take the lead?

Sandra angrily hung up.

The music stopped, and so did the singing. John and Aurora exchanged a smile, lost in each other's eyes.

After a few seconds of silence, the crowd erupted in applause. John, holding a red rose, walked up to Aurora and, like a magician, pulled out a diamond ring from the rose. He knelt on one knee, making all the women scream.

It was so romantic. Aurora was over the moon.

John looked at Aurora, his eyes full of love, and opened his arms. "Aurora, from the moment I met you, I wanted to hold your hand forever. I believe you're my one and only. From today on, I, John, live to make you happy."

John raised his voice, shouting, "Aurora, I love you, marry me."

The crowd went wild with cheers.

Caught up in the moment, everyone shouted, "Marry him, marry him!!"

"Mr. Lewis is awesome."

"Mr. Lewis is my hero."

"Marry him, Ms. White. If you don't want him, we will."

Aurora was moved to tears, her heart racing.

John's shirt was half-open, showing off his chest, which was just too tempting.

Meeting such a great guy, how lucky was she?

Aurora told herself, don't hesitate. There would never be another man like John in her lifetime.

Summer whistled. "Aurora, marry him! Guys like him are one in a million."

Loren smacked his lips and said, "Even though John can be a bit of a jerk, sneaky, and all that, he's really good to Aurora. I'll be the bigger person and step aside. I'm still young, and John’s already in his thirties."

Loren's innocent words made everyone laugh.

With the kids cheering her on, Aurora looked at John and nervously extended her hand. "Okay, I..."

"Wait!" Before Aurora could finish, Sandra's voice cut through the air, holding a paternity test report.

"Sandra, what are you doing?" Todd whispered, trying to pull her away.

Sandra marched up to John, ignoring his furious expression. "John, I can't let you be fooled. Aurora has a child, and that child is Summer."

Sandra pointed at Summer, waving the paternity test. "This is the test result I got today. It proves Aurora and this child are mother and son."

Sandra's words caused a stir.

First, there was Jane's fake pregnancy, and now Aurora supposedly had an illegitimate child? And the kid was right here?

There had been rumors about Aurora having an illegitimate child before, but they turned out to be false. Was this another jealous attempt to frame her?

John's face showed a flicker of surprise. He knew Aurora had kids but didn't know it was Summer and Loren.

Summer and Loren were also stunned. Aurora was their mom?

Todd looked shocked. Could this get any crazier?

Sophia was super worried. After dealing with Jane, now there was Sandra. What would Aurora do? Sophia was on edge.

John quickly regained his cool and coldly said to Sandra, "Get out."

"John, I'm telling the truth. If you don't believe me, ask her yourself." Sandra glared at Aurora. "Aurora, do you dare to tell everyone your relationship with those two kids?"

Aurora glanced at Loren and Summer. She knew what she'd face if she nodded. She also knew how cruel it would be to deny it to Summer and Loren.

Loren and Summer had never had parental love, and she couldn't abandon them now.

Seeing things going south, John didn't have time to stop it.

Aurora had already admitted, "Yes, they are my sons."

The crowd erupted.

Sandra smiled triumphantly.

At that moment, a hotel staff member approached Helen. "Mrs. Lewis, someone is looking for you in the lobby."

Helen quickly went out, thinking the test results were in.

As long as it proved the kids were John's, everything would be fine.

Helen hurried out, and Emily noticed her, curiously following.

In the hotel lobby.

A middle-aged man was waiting for Helen. Seeing her, he stood up and said, "Mrs. Lewis, I brought what you asked for."

"Thank you." Helen took the yellow envelope from his hand, eagerly opening it, and pulled out the test results. Seeing the results, Helen was so excited her hands were shaking.

"Sure enough, they are the Lewis bloodline. John has heirs." Helen quickly put the paternity test back in the envelope and handed a stack of money to the man. "Thank you, Dr. Blaze, for making the trip."

"My pleasure, my pleasure." Ember Blaze took the money, weighing it in his hand, and left with a smile.

Thinking of Aurora and the two kids, Helen quickly walked back.
