Chapter 193 Aurora, let me explain.

When Aurora saw the photos, she lost it. A chill ran through her, and she began to shake all over. John had totally betrayed her trust. Even though she thought she was ready for this, it hit her hard.

Aurora threw off the covers and got dressed in a flash, moving with purpose. She didn't even bother with her wheelchair. Grabbing her phone, she stormed out.

Lachlan and Gideon, who were on guard duty at her door, perked up when they saw her heading out in the middle of the night.

"Ms. White, it's super late. Where are you going?"

"Crescent Restaurant," Aurora said, her face like stone and her voice icy. "You two, get the car."

The brothers exchanged looks. Lachlan said, "Ms. White, it's really late, the restaurant's closed. If you're hungry, I can have someone bring you food."

"Shut up and get the car," Aurora snapped, barely holding back her anger.

Lachlan and Gideon didn't dare argue. This was the woman Boss Lewis adored, the mistress of the Lewis Group, and even the Nightfall. They couldn't risk crossing her.

From the photos, Aurora was convinced it was clear John and Jennifer were at a hotel. There was a Stellaris Grand Hotel right next to the Crescent Restaurant, and she had noticed the hotel's name on the towels in the photos.

When a woman went into detective mode, her insight could rival Sherlock Holmes.

Coincidentally, the Stellaris Grand Hotel was owned by The Robinson family.

As Aurora arrived at the hotel, she got another taunting message: [John is mine.]

Aurora smirked and walked into the hotel lobby, saying to the receptionist, "I need to know which room Jennifer is in."

The receptionist looked uneasy. "Sorry, that's private information. We can't share it."

Aurora didn't waste time and called Kevin as she requested, "Kevin, I'm at your Stellaris Grand Hotel. I need to check someone's room info." Quick and to the point.

The receptionist, overhearing Aurora's call, was initially surprised but then scoffed, "Miss, I've seen this trick before. If you want to find someone, call them. Otherwise, you can't go up."

These days, lots of people came to hotels with all sorts of excuses to catch someone cheating. The receptionist immediately pegged Aurora as one of those people.

And, well, Aurora was indeed here to catch someone cheating.

Aurora didn't say another word. After hanging up, she just waited.

Within minutes, the receptionist got a call from the hotel manager, and her face changed completely. "Manager, I thought she was causing trouble. I'll get the info for Ms. White right away."

After hanging up, the receptionist's attitude did a 180. "Ms. White, I'm so sorry. I'll check right now."

Aurora didn't make it hard for the receptionist, as she was just doing her job.

"Which room is Jennifer in?"

"2505, Ms. White. I'll take you there."

"No need, just give me the spare key card." Aurora put on her sunglasses and took the elevator upstairs with Lachlan and Gideon.

The sunglasses were just to hide her true feelings.

Room 2505.

Jennifer, in a nightgown, lay seductively next to John.

"John, you're finally back with me." Jennifer looked at John with love in her eyes, her hands running over his muscular chest.

John didn't budge, and Jennifer looked at him with a twisted sense of satisfaction. "John, don't hate me for drugging you. I had no choice. This is a new drug from The Shadow of Darkness organization. You won't wake up for five hours. Today's my birthday, so just stay with me, okay?"

Jennifer pressed her face against John's chest. "With Aurora around, you never see me. For these five hours, you're mine."

Jennifer smiled, but tears rolled down her cheeks. They were bittersweet tears.

Jennifer had always been proud, but having John for just five hours this way? It stung. She wiped her tears and sat up, staring at John with deep affection.

Human nature was greedy. Once one wish was fulfilled, another desire popped up.

As Jennifer stared, she felt a pang of compassion. Her heart pounded, and she leaned down to kiss him.

Suddenly, John's eyes snapped open. Seeing what Jennifer was about to do, he instinctively covered his mouth with one hand and blurted out, "Stop."

Before Jennifer could process John's sudden awakening, the door was kicked open.

Aurora stormed in with Lachlan and Gideon. John removed his hand and instinctively looked towards the door.

"Aurora." John's mind went blank.

Aurora saw them about to kiss, and her anger skyrocketed. She had thought John was drunk or tricked by Jennifer, but seeing him awake in bed with her shattered that hope.

Jennifer's nightgown was a mix of innocence and sexiness, making the scene even worse.

The last bit of hope shattered.

"John!" Aurora gritted her teeth. She had never been this angry in front of him.

Lachlan and Gideon felt awkward and depressed. How could they have known Aurora brought them to catch John in the act?

"Aurora, let me explain." John hurriedly got out of bed, only to realize his pants were missing too.

Now there was really no way to explain.

Aurora took a deep breath, unable to suppress her anger, and shouted, "Put on your clothes and pants and come with me immediately."

"Aurora, calm down. Don't get angry." John wanted to say not to harm the baby, but quickly changed his words.

He then quickly put on his clothes and pants, his attitude very submissive. In this situation, he couldn't say much. He could only listen to whatever Aurora said to avoid triggering a bigger outburst.

"Wait for me at the door." Aurora didn't even want to look at John.

John obediently went out.

Lachlan and Gideon were very surprised. Today, they finally understood who really called the shots in the Lewis Group and Nightfall. It was clear that the most powerful wasn't Boss Lewis, but Ms. White.

The room was left with just Aurora and Jennifer.

Jennifer got off the bed with a smile, her sexy nightgown fully showcasing her figure, making her very enticing.

"Ms. White, why are you so angry? Do you really think a man like John will only have one woman?" Jennifer accused, "John is a manly man, but you don't respect him and keep embarrassing him, controlling him and acting willfully. In front of you, he doesn't even look like a man."

"Luring my man into your bed is quite a skill." Aurora's face was stern. "I, Aurora, won't blame you. It's my fault for not managing my relationship well. If you want him so badly, fine, but only after I've completely broken up with him. If you want to be a homewrecker and steal my man, you have to ask for my permission first."
