Chapter 131 Notifying the Taylor and Harris Families

Nicole never thought Loren would still be alive and kicking.

Now, no matter how much she denied it, it was pointless.

Aurora's anger flared up, asLoren had almost died because of Nicole.

"Nicole, you're just too cruel," Aurora snapped, kicking her.

She hadn't fought in ages, not since she beat up Leo.

One kick wasn't enough, so Aurora kicked her a few more times.

"Ouch, you little brat, how dare you hit me," Nicole howled. "You're just as heartless as your father."

Loren, hands on hips, snorted. "Bad woman, you deserve it."

No one stopped Aurora, letting her vent.

After Aurora was done, Summer gave Nicole a kick, too. "Mess with Loren, you get what's coming."

Then Loren ran up, slapped Nicole on the head, and stood back beside Aurora. "Old witch."

Loren and Summer stood on either side of Aurora, the little one cute and fierce, the big one looking just as untouchable.

John watched them, his cold eyes softening.

He imagined a future where he and Aurora had two kids, standing by her side just like this.

The kids would protect Aurora, and the three of them together would be a beautiful sight.

Mother and children.

John's heart skipped a beat. From his angle, they really did look like a mother and her kids.

Nicole wanted to fight back but saw so many people on the yacht and didn't dare.

Before Nicole got on the yacht, John, Sam, and Tyler had put on masks, so she couldn't recognize them.

Todd stepped forward. "Nicole, you kidnapped Loren and threw him into the sea, trying to kill him. That's enough to put you in prison for twenty years."

Hearing "prison," Nicole panicked and begged for mercy. "No, don't call the police. I didn't mean to kidnap him, it was a misunderstanding. Aurora, I thought he got separated from you and was worried he'd be taken by traffickers, so I brought him on the yacht to return him to you later."

What a smooth talker.

"Return him? If I had been a little later, Loren would be dead."

"This is so unfair. How was I supposed to know he'd fall into the water? I was scared and didn't dare tell the truth. I didn't mean to harm him," Nicole cried, claiming it was all a misunderstanding.

Aurora knew Nicole's acting skills well.

No one believed Nicole.

Loren suddenly said, "Aurora, there was another bad woman. She's this old witch's daughter."

Loren hadn't seen Emily's face, but he guessed from their conversation.

Hearing Emily was involved, Aurora's expression turned colder.

Nicole quickly explained, "No, Emily isn't here, it's just me. If you don't believe me, check the yacht. It's just me."

They had checked earlier; no one else was on the yacht. But Loren's words were more credible than Nicole's.

Aurora glanced at John. "Emily can swim. If we go to the dock now, we might catch her."

John immediately instructed Tyler, "Take two people to the dock."

"Yes, boss." Tyler took two people and headed to the dock on another yacht.

Seeing this, Nicole was thoroughly panicked.

"Aurora, please, spare us. We were just confused. I didn't mean to harm the kid. Let us go, and we won't bother you again," Nicole pleaded.

Aurora was shocked but knew better than to trust Nicole and Emily. She had no plans to forgive them.

Remembering the terror of seeing Loren floating in the sea, Aurora wanted Nicole to experience the same.

"Sam, throw her into the sea. Let her feel what it's like to drown," Aurora said. "But don't let her die."

"Got it." Sam called out, "Get a net and toss her in."

"No, no," Nicole struggled in terror. "Aurora, I was really wrong. I heard there are sharks here. I'll die."

"Oh? Sharks?" Aurora smirked. "Even better, throw her in."

John knew Aurora's style—an eye for an eye.

Loren chimed in, "Teach the bad person a lesson, throw her in."

Nicole was put into a net, clinging to it in terror. "Aurora, let me go. I know where your child is. The orphanage director lied. Your child was never adopted."

"Throw her in," Todd urged Sam to hurry up.

With John around, mentioning Aurora's child was just annoying.

Aurora didn't believe Nicole. She'd been deceived too many times.

Nicole was thrown into the sea, struggling in the water. They pulled her up a bit, then dunked her again.

Nicole was repeatedly dunked, drinking seawater, struggling on the edge of life and death.

Then, a shark really did swim over. Nicole screamed in terror, "Pull me up, Aurora, this isn't a joke, hurry."

The shark got closer. Nicole's face twisted in fear. When they finally pulled her up, she had fainted from fright.

Aurora felt no sympathy. This mother-daughter duo never changed. Being kind to them was being cruel to herself.

She wasn't a saint and couldn't forgive them.

John ordered a return to the dock. Emily, who had just climbed ashore, was caught by Tyler and brought back.

"Send word to The Taylor family and The Harris family to come to Meadow Brook Villa to pick up their people."

John's words made Emily and Nicole collapse, completely defeated.

Daniel got the notice from John's men, his anger surging. "That wretched woman, always causing trouble."

Percy's reaction was no better. One was his mistress, the other his illegitimate daughter. He couldn't distance himself from them, especially since The Lewis Family had already sent word. He had no choice but to go.

At Meadow Brook Villa, Emily and Nicole sat on the ground, soaking wet, hugging each other for warmth.

This was John's territory. Sam and Tyler didn't need masks anymore. They changed clothes, and the women didn't recognize them.

John, in clean clothes, sat in his wheelchair, drinking coffee, waiting for the Taylor and Harris families to arrive.

Summer and Loren were upstairs; Aurora didn't let them come down.

After about half an hour, Daniel and Percy arrived together.

Seeing them, Nicole and Emily seemed to see their saviors. One ran to Daniel, the other to Percy.

Emily said, "Daniel, my stomach hurts. I'm so scared. You have to take me back."

Nicole grabbed Percy, crying pitifully. "Percy, save me. I don't want to go to jail."
