Chapter 403: The Map Was Stolen

John showcased his best moves, performing a tango that could rival any international competition.

Aurora sat in the audience, her face cradled in her hands as she watched John. No matter how she looked at him, she found her husband incredibly charming.

So handsome, so cool. Aurora was completely smitten, licking her lips.

She wanted to devour John.

John, holding up his pants, then performed a tap dance routine.

As the final beat dropped, Aurora felt a profound silence.

It was as if the entire world had faded away, leaving only John.

Aurora stared dreamily until John walked over, cupped her face, and gave her a long, passionate kiss.

Up above, a few people watched.

Lori quickly covered Summer and Loren's eyes.

"Don't look at inappropriate things, kids."

Todd shivered. "So cheesy."

Ava commented, "He's quite the flirt. If I were Aurora, I'd be head over heels, too."

Lori feigned surprise. "Ava, is that why you can't find someone you like? Because no one is as good at flirting as John?"

Todd rubbed his chin with a sly smile. "Lori, you still owe me a favor. I know what I want now."

Lori had a bad feeling. "What?"

Todd grinned. "Give me a tango performance, and we'll call it even."

Lori smirked coldly. "I can't dance the tango, but I can throw knives and wield a big sword. Want to see?"

There was a clear hint of threat in her words.

Knives and swords didn't have eyes. If someone got hurt, it would be their fault.

Lori definitely meant it that way.

Todd touched his neck, muttering, "Women and petty people are hard to deal with."

Ava summed it up. "You really know how to dig your own grave."

Todd nodded, taking the lesson to heart. "Women are not to be messed with. Summer, Loren, look at me and your dad. We're living examples."

Summer said, "My parents have a mutual understanding, Todd. You and Lori... not so much."

Summer glanced at Lori and Todd, shaking his head with a sigh. "When I find a girlfriend, she won't be too violent or too smart. I'll teach her myself."

"That's called grooming," Lori chuckled. "Summer, that's a dangerous mindset. Kawaii is still so young, and you're already planning."

Summer turned away. "Kawaii is just my sister, Aunt Lori. Don't say such things."

Ava, watching the scene below, said, "It looks like they have more planned. Should we be watching this?"

Loren seemed to understand. "Let's go. Mom and Dad are probably planning to make me a sister."

Everyone fell silent.

Kids these days knew so much.

John glanced up, silently warning them to leave quickly and not interrupt.

"We've been spotted. Let's go."

Lori was the first to climb down.

One by one, they all descended. Loren hesitated. "Summer, catch me."

"It's not that high, and you're too heavy. I can't catch you. Todd, you do it." Summer stepped back.

Loren jumped onto Todd, who instinctively caught him. "You're heavy, little chubster. Time to lose some weight."

Just then, an alarm sounded on the island.

Todd's expression tightened. "Something's wrong on the island."

John, inside the yacht, heard the alarm too and led Aurora out.

Aurora was surprised to see everyone. "What are you all doing here?"

Lori raised her hand. "Watching John dance. His moves were quite... captivating."

"Consider the bet between you and Aurora settled," John said, looking towards the island. "Todd, turn the boat around."

"Yes, John." Todd immediately headed to the cockpit.

In about ten minutes, they were back on the island.

Sam hurried over. "Mr. Lewis, someone broke into the information room and stole the island's map."
