Chapter 112 The Aura of the Dominant in Every Move

Jessica didn't think it was good at all.
She was about to refuse quickly, but Danielle was already pulling Gabriel's hand toward the main entrance of the neighborhood.
Jessica turned around, pointing at them, then at herself. "No, did you ask my advice?"
She didn't say yes.
She thought she spoke loudly, but they walked away so naturally, not even bothering to look back at her.
Jessica watched speechlessly Danielle tightly holding Gabriel's hand, continuously kicking her legs forward to keep up with his pace, and then Jessica looked at Gabriel who had already slowed down and quickly walked over.
Jessica approached. "If you haven't eaten tonight, you can go back to eat something or just find a clean restaurant nearby."
Gabriel glanced at Jessica, his straight legs in trousers pausing for a moment, his deep black eyes staring directly at her.
"Can't I go to your home?"
Jessica said, "Not that you can't, but it's not very convenient."
She thought for a moment, squeezed out the last four words, and then nodded affirmatively. "Really, not very convenient."
Gabriel slowly inquired, "Why is it inconvenient?"
"Yeah, Mommy!" Danielle still tightly held Gabriel's hand, looking up at Jessica with a puzzled expression. "Uncle Spencer used to live in our house before, and for so long, why is it suddenly inconvenient?"
Jessica immediately glared at Danielle fiercely, but Danielle, at that moment, turned her head to Gabriel. "My teacher said it's not good to go hungry if Mommy doesn't cook pasta for Uncle Spencer. I have cookies in my backpack. Uncle Spencer, come to my house, I'll treat you to cookies!"
Gabriel's gaze calmly swept over Jessica's face like that, then he lowered his head to look at Danielle, seeming very eager for her cookies, and smiled. "Alright."
Jessica was speechless.
She closed her eyes, trying hard to force a smile.
'Danielle, you are truly remarkable!' Jessica thought.
Lastly, with a faint glimmer of hope, Jessica looked at Gabriel, hoping he would understand her refusal in her eyes.
However, Gabriel probably wasn't in good eyesight today, or he was being persuaded by Danielle. Jessica's refusal was so obvious, yet he still calmly let Danielle's small hand lead him inside, completely ignoring Jessica's expression of dissent.
"Uncle Spencer, look, this is the little red flower the teacher rewarded me with because I helped the little kids tidy up their toys a few days ago!"
"This is the toy that Ronald from the physical education class rewarded me with because I learned all the gymnastic moves I just learned!"
"These were all my rewards."
"This is my new certificate. Look, I'm a little reading expert! The teacher said I knew a lot of words!"
As soon as Danielle returned home, she pulled Gabriel to sit at the dining table, apparently really intending to bring him home for dinner, but then she turned around and took out all her little things, one by one, and held them up to his eyes.
Jessica rolled her eyes at Danielle, who couldn't read the signs at all, although Danielle didn't see it at all.
But since Gabriel was already here, she couldn't possibly kick him out.
Jessica turned and entered the kitchen, her mind constantly reminding herself that she just didn't want to offend Gabriel, just didn't want to disappoint Danielle.
She obediently cooked a bowl of pasta that he had rarely praised for its taste before, although this kind of pasta was very simple to make, with just ingredients and seasonings, but her plain pasta, which had no added frills, had once been highly favored by Spencer, no, now it was by Gabriel.
They had indeed eaten outside, at the children's restaurant, and couldn't eat much more now, so Jessica only made a bowl of pasta and then habitually took some simple fruits from the fridge, cut them into pieces, put them on a matching small plate, and served the fruits and pasta.
Danielle kept showing Gabriel toys from her toy box in her child's room, and Jessica placed the pasta on the table and pushed it in front of Gabriel.
Gabriel had just received Danielle's cherished little certificate in his hand, turned his eyes, looked at the bowl of pasta placed in front of him.
"Eat." Jessica placed a fork next to his hand.
Gabriel wasn't polite; he returned the things in his hand to Danielle and picked up the fork.
Jessica reached out and pulled Danielle, who was about to climb onto the chair next to Gabriel, to continue talking. "Little reading expert, it's already past eight. Why don't you go brush your teeth now?"
"Okay," Danielle replied softly, then turned to look at Gabriel, waving to him with reluctance, whispering, "Uncle Spencer, I'll be back after brushing my teeth, don't leave."
'Nonsense, if he didn't leave, could I still let him stay and sleep here?' Jessica thought.
Jessica directly dragged Danielle into the small bathroom in the child's room. "Hurry up and brush your teeth! Don't dawdle!"
Then Jessica saw that Gabriel had actually eaten her pasta when she came out, sitting as elegantly and upright as ever. Even though eating this bowl of pasta in her house might seem down-to-earth, he still couldn't hide the aura of a superior in his every move.
Jessica was momentarily dazed by this scene, as if not long ago, he was wearing the clothes she bought, sitting here in the same way.
But Gabriel at this moment, in a black suit, revealing a glimpse of a white undershirt, his trousers neatly pressed, meticulous, still had that tall and handsome appearance.
Jessica couldn't help but sigh, how could she have been so blind not to notice that Gabriel who slept in her house every night possessed an aura of authority both inside and out, she hadn't thought about it in that way.
But he wasn't as indifferent and unfeeling as recent hearsay about him, but Gabriel's perfect and heart-stirring features were enough to exude a daunting coldness, although he didn't bring this icy demeanor into her home after entering.
This made Jessica feel a strange mix of unfamiliarity, mixed with a sense of attraction and other emotions she couldn't quite understand.
The sound of Danielle rinsing her mouth while brushing her teeth in the child's room continued, and Jessica suddenly walked to the dining table, thoughtfully circling around while watching Gabriel, who was calmly eating his pasta.
Then, when Gabriel set down his utensils, seemingly noticing her unusual behavior at the moment, he raised his eyebrows slightly and turned his stern gaze towards her; Jessica suddenly turned around and placed her hands on the dining table, staring at Gabriel's superior face for a while.
