Chapter 545 Sweet Extra - Couple Variety Show 30

Gabriel knew everyone was watching him, but he acted like nothing was wrong. He calmly raised his hand and gently stopped Jessica from adding ice to her drink, giving her a stern look that clearly said, "No ice."

Jessica had always been sensitive to the cold. She usually carried a thermos on set, but Harmony City was unbearably hot right now. Seeing everyone else adding ice to their drinks, she wanted to cool down her juice too, but Gabriel had stopped her.

Jessica quietly withdrew her hand, took a sip of her juice, and regretfully eyed the bowl of ice in front of her.

After briefly glancing at Jessica, Gabriel turned his attention back to Lester, who had just asked a question. His expression remained calm as he spoke in a deep voice, "I'm quite familiar with Jessica's work environment. She gets along well with her colleagues and the crew. Normal interactions between coworkers are nothing to worry about. However," Gabriel's gaze shifted silently to Amy, then coolly to Kevin, "as her cousin, even if only distantly related, you should pay more attention to her feelings and mental state. Guide her properly to prevent youthful impulsiveness from leading to regret."

[Poor Kevin!]

[Gabriel's subtext: Kevin, I'm here to keep an eye on you. Stay away from both my wife and my cousin!]

[Wait, isn't Mr. Martinez the one being pursued?]

[Depends on who's doing the pursuing.]

[Feeling sorry for Mr. Martinez.]

[Feeling sorry for Kevin +1]

[Kevin, don't worry. Go ahead and argue with Mr. Harriman. If things go south, we'll make a run for it! Idol behavior is the idol's responsibility, fans are not accountable!]

[Kevin's fans surrendering on the spot?]

[Ignore these idiots.]

[You're the idiot. I've been following Kevin for three years. He better stay single from start to finish. Who needs a girlfriend?]

[Obsessive fan alert, everyone steer clear.]

Kevin was still recovering from being choked up earlier. The others at the table were quietly laughing. He set down his glass and, with a slightly hoarse voice, said, "Mr. Harriman, you sure have a lot to worry about as the head of the family."

Amy immediately chimed in, "Exactly, exactly!"

Gabriel glanced at Amy, who seemed to lose her wits for love, and said in his usual cold tone, "You're almost nineteen. Remember to use your brain before you leave the house."

Amy looked puzzled, "What? What did I do?"

She blinked in confusion at Kevin, who was equally speechless. Amy's behavior secretly amused the others at the table. She was acting like a teenager in love, trying to get close to the boy she liked and protect him at all costs. Such straightforward and naive affection was rare, especially in their circle.

Kevin said, "Mr. Harriman, rest assured, I only see Amy as a sister. We greet each other in and out of the set. This is a show, so it's unavoidable."

His words wouldn't make it into the final cut of the show, but Kevin wanted to make things clear. "There's more soup in the kitchen. I'll go get some for everyone." With that, Kevin got up and went inside.

Amy's previously shy and affectionate demeanor shattered instantly.
