"It's fine, just call him brother-in-law from now on," Jessica said with a grand wave of her hand.

"Ultimately, we're colleagues. Keep it professional," Gabriel gently placed the glass in front of her, the sound just loud enough to be heard, softly reminding her.
Jessica paused.
Then she said nothing more.
Indeed, in this industry, no matter how pure the initial connection, if it's not purely a fan relationship but also a colleague relationship, there's always a risk of falling out over future collaborations.
Good friends and close buddies turning into enemies was all too common.
Gabriel could see that she genuinely liked Elise and wanted to be friends, enjoying recording the show together.
