Chapter 305 The Man's Display of Jealousy Is Rather Fearsome

Jessica muttered, "I didn't promise Kevin."

Unable to handle Gabriel's intensity, she curled up in his arms like a hedgehog, hoping he'd ease up. "And I told him, I have a boyfriend."

She thought that might make him back off, but instead, he just got more passionate.

Jessica's hands slipped off the edge of the bathtub, unable to hold on.

She kept sliding down, unable to withstand Gabriel's relentless actions.

Eventually, she gave up resisting, curling up in his arms, whimpering and begging for mercy, tearfully promising to keep her distance from the male actors in the group. She thought she had always kept a strict distance, but apparently, it wasn't enough.

She had thought Gabriel was broad-minded and considerate, but he turned out to be so domineering and jealous over such trivial matters.

It was overwhelming.

By midnight, Danielle finally woke up. Even though it was the middle of the night, her body's biological clock kicked in. She sat on the bed, staring blankly, looking like she could fall back asleep at any moment.

Jessica, trapped in the bathroom, was in no state to comfort Danielle.Gabriel, in a bathrobe, heard Danielle's plea for water and got her some.

Danielle sat on the bed, dazed, and asked, "Where's Mommy?"

"She's taking a bath." Gabriel sat by the bed and patted her little head. "Do you want to sleep some more?"

"Yes, but I also want Mommy." Danielle pouted and threw herself into his arms. "When will Mommy be done with her bath?"

"If you want to sleep, go ahead. I'll wake you up later to eat something." Gabriel gently coaxed, "You were so excited after arriving in H City that you didn't even have dinner. I'll have someone bring a late-night snack, and you can eat then, okay?"

"Okay, will Mommy eat with us?"

"Yes, together."

"Great!" Danielle was still sleepy and soon fell back asleep in his arms.

A few minutes later, Danielle's breathing became steady, and she quickly fell asleep again.

Gabriel got up, placed Danielle back in bed, covered her with a blanket, and gently brushed aside her soft hair. Seeing her sleeping soundly, he returned to the bathroom.

Jessica was lying in the warm water of the bathtub, exhausted and trembling. She finally had a moment to catch her breath while Danielle was awake.

With her eyes closed, enjoying the moment, she suddenly heard the bathroom door open again, and Gabriel's voice came from above, "How's the water temperature?"

"It's fine, very comfortable." Jessica thought it was over and let her guard down, responding softly with her eyes closed, leaning back in the tub.

With a splash, Jessica was suddenly lifted out of the water by Gabriel before she could react.

Startled, she barely had time to open her eyes before she was pressed against the tiled wall of the bathroom.

She only managed to gasp, "Gabriel, you... Ugh!"

Her lips were sealed.

It was terrifying.

Gabriel's display of jealousy was rather fearsome.

She thought she was bribing her sugar daddy, but this was too much.

When Jessica finally got back into the bathtub, she was trembling. She hadn't eaten much on set before returning to the hotel, so she was a bit hungry.

Hiding in the bathroom, not wanting to go out, she vaguely heard the doorbell ring. She lazily kept her eyes closed, ignoring it, letting Gabriel handle it.

Moments later, Gabriel lifted her from the water, drying her off and wrapping her in a bathrobe.

It wasn't that Jessica was being overly dramatic; she was genuinely exhausted, feeling boneless, half-closing her eyes and murmuring, "Gabriel, you can't touch me for at least a month."

She felt that even if it wasn't tonight, a few more times in the near future would make her fall apart.

As Gabriel carried her out of the bathroom, he chuckled from deep in his chest, clearly indicating that was not going to happen.

So Jessica began to think about any upcoming trips she might have to keep her distance from Gabriel.

She couldn't even imagine what her daily life would be like once she moved to the thirty-second floor.

Just thinking about it made her scalp tingle, her body ache, and her legs tremble.

She didn't know when Gabriel had ordered a late-night snack from the hotel, but after being carried out and placed by the table, Jessica saw a few easily digestible dishes that she liked, and she finally felt a bit of strength returning.

Danielle was woken up to eat, running over to cling to Jessica's leg. "Mommy, Mommy!"

Jessica tried to lift Danielle onto her lap, but Gabriel, considering her current lack of strength, helped by placing Danielle on the nearest chair.

"Mommy, you took such a long bath." Danielle noticed Jessica wearing a bathrobe and, while picking up a small spoon, still remembered Jessica's bath.

"Eat up." Jessica quickly gave Danielle a small apple pie. "It's late, eat something soft and easy to digest so your stomach won't feel uncomfortable when you go back to sleep."

Danielle was genuinely hungry and obediently ate beside Jessica. After a few bites, she looked up and asked, "Uncle Spencer, can we stay here with Mommy?"

"Aren't you going to preschool tomorrow morning?" Gabriel picked out some fish, removed the bones, and placed it on their plates. "I'll take you back at dawn.Your mom will return to Xyleria tomorrow afternoon. Be good and go back to preschool first."

"Oh." Danielle picked up the fish Uncle Spencer had deboned for her and put it in her mouth, her cheeks puffing up as she said, "Oh right, the day after tomorrow is January 1st. Mommy said she prepared a gift for you!"

Jessica, who had just taken a sip of fish soup, choked and glared at Danielle.

Danielle blinked innocently at her. "Mommy prepared it for a long time! Can't I say it?"

"Not now!" Jessica glared at her, signaling her to change the subject.

"Oh, but Mommy really prepared it for a long time," Danielle muttered softly and then turned her attention back to Gabriel.

Gabriel continued to debone the fish for them, clearly understanding that Jessica didn't want to reveal it yet, and pretended not to hear, quietly accompanying them as they ate.

After dinner, Jessica called Danielle to take a bath and brush her teeth. The little one, freshly washed and fragrant, obediently climbed back into bed, calling out, "Mommy, sleep with me~"
