Chapter 443 Spoiling Your Wife Like This?
Gabriel noticed her phone was up, still connected to the company meeting room, but he didn't say a word. He just gave Jessica a soft look, silently giving his okay.
Jessica quickly snapped a pic of her ridiculously handsome husband's back. She thought about editing it, but Gabriel's back was just too perfect. The dim lighting in the study and the blurred computer screen in front of him only added to the mystery and elite vibe of Gabriel's already impressive figure.
In the end, she couldn't bring herself to edit the photo and just posted it on Instagram with a cute smiley face emoji.
As soon as Jessica posted the photo, Gabriel was still deep in a high-level video conference. Even though he wasn't in a suit and attending in person, the usual work checks and reports went on as usual, and the meeting vibe stayed the same.
Everyone was dutifully attending the meeting, but probably only half were really paying attention. The other half were thinking they had just heard a woman's voice on Gabriel's end, sounding like the woman they had seen on TV, Gabriel's newly announced wife, Jessica.
Gabriel had always come off as cold and aloof, strictly separating work and personal life, never sharing any private details publicly. It was hard to imagine what he was like when doting on his wife at home.
However, the executives present felt lucky to know that Gabriel and Jessica's relationship was solid. After all, it was rare for Gabriel not to come to the office, and Jessica was still in the same room with him.
Gabriel stayed in the study, while Jessica lounged on the bed, scrolling through Instagram. The photo she posted quickly racked up likes and comments, mostly from fans freaking out.
[It's the study, you can tell it's a small study in the bedroom! Our little Jessica and Mr. Harriman are living together! It's so great that they're a legal couple and don't need to hide their affection. I'm so jealous!]

[Finally, we get to see a second photo of Gabriel besides that side profile shot from the meeting room. Even though it's just a back view, his figure is amazing.]

Jessica had never shown off her affection before, and this was the first time. She didn't expect that after a few fans called him hubby, a whole bunch of others would follow suit, filling her comments with various "hubby" remarks.
It was just a back view, but suddenly there were a lot of rivals.
If Gabriel's full face were ever captured and fearlessly posted by the media, Instagram might crash for an entire day.
When Sarah finally knocked on the door, it was already past ten in the morning. Jessica had been awake for a while but was so comfy lounging on the bed that she almost fell asleep again. She quickly got up to open the door.
When the door opened, Sarah greeted her with a warm smile. "Michael asked us to prepare Danielle's room, and it's all set now. Mrs. Harriman, would you like to take a look?"
Jessica glanced at the time. "Really? We just got back last night."
"Yes, Michael was so excited he barely slept. He had everyone working on it during breakfast. When Michael's in a hurry, things get done fast. From buying stuff to setting up the room, it only took a few hours. Danielle just saw it and she loves it," Sarah said, still smiling.
Jessica couldn't help but be curious about what kind of room Michael had set up for Danielle. Seeing that Gabriel was still busy in the study, she followed Sarah to check it out.
Danielle's room was in the same villa as Gabriel's bedroom, just on another floor. When they opened the door, they saw a cute new bed covered with various stuffed animals. The room's decor was still pretty standard, but the pink bed and the thick pink-and-white plush rug on the floor gave it a distinct children's room vibe.
There was also a new backpack and several new outfits for kids, clearly bought to make sure Danielle had a change of clothes when she stayed with the Harriman family.
From the moment Michael learned the truth last night to this morning, he had poured all his love for his great-granddaughter into preparing for Danielle. In just a few hours, everything was ready.
Jessica thought she could handle everything calmly, but when she saw the carefully carved door sign with little pink flowers that read "Danielle's Room," she couldn't help but smile with teary eyes.
Danielle, that little rascal, had been by her side since birth. From such a small child, they had depended on each other abroad, and now, she finally had a real family with many people to love and care for her.
Jessica had never truly complained about fate until now. She was even more grateful for it, for bringing Gabriel into her life.
"Shadow Kill" wasn't finished yet, and many important scenes needed reshoots. To make sure the promotional trailer was perfect, most of the required shots were challenging and needed special effects.
When Jessica returned to the set for reshoots, her fellow actors kept glancing her way.
Even though her identity as Mrs. Harriman had been publicly revealed, she still arrived at the set in a modest studio business car and drove an old Audi the next day. Despite her low-key and simple appearance, a few supporting actresses who had had minor conflicts with her in the makeup room couldn't help but gossip behind her back.
They suspected that Jessica might have signed a prenuptial agreement before marrying into the Harriman family. Although she was Mrs. Harriman in name, maybe the Harriman family never intended to formally accept her. They might have married her just for the child's sake, but probably there was a prenuptial agreement restricting Jessica's expenses and preventing her from accessing the Harriman family's assets.
