Chapter 304 He Locked the Door from the Inside
Jessica leaned over the bed, her hand gently resting on the edge, gazing at Danielle sleeping soundly. Her eyes were full of love and joy.
Danielle was out cold, totally unaware of how long Jessica had been waiting or how she even got in. It was a sweet surprise.
Jessica never thought she'd see Danielle just drop by while she was filming out of town.
After a while, she pulled up the blanket Danielle had kicked off, then quietly stood up, took off her coat, and grabbed her bag, ready to put it in the adjacent suite.
But as she turned into the other suite, she suddenly bumped into a steady, cool embrace.
Her mind went blank. She had a hunch it might be Gabriel when she saw Danielle, but the suddenness almost made her heart stop. After a few seconds, she looked up at him, confused. "How did you get in? Why didn't you tell me you were coming? You scared me!"
Meanwhile, Jessica's eyes caught sight of the room card on the nearby cabinet, bearing the Harriman logo.
She realized with a jolt that her H City hotel was another Harriman Group property. Impregnable to most, it would be child's play for Gabriel to reach her.
"Danielle said she missed you. I wasn't busy tonight, so I brought her over," Gabriel said, kissing the corner of Jessica's mouth. "Danielle was so excited in the car that she didn't sleep. When we arrived, she was too tired to keep her eyes open, so I let her sleep for a while."
"No wonder." Jessica turned to the bed in the other room. "Danielle usually likes to sleep in the car. If she didn't sleep the whole way, she must be exhausted. No wonder she's sleeping so soundly."
She looked up at him again, "I really missed her. Every time I go out of town to film, I miss her, but I just can't come back. You bringing her to me is the biggest surprise!"
Gabriel chuckled and kissed her on the lips again, pressing her against the wall. In a low voice, he said, "Don't you miss me?"
"Of course I do!" Jessica wrapped her arms around his neck, smiling as she kissed his chin. "I miss Danielle, and I miss you, too!"
Gabriel's eyes were as deep as the ocean, looking down at her. The unhidden joy and passion in Jessica's eyes seemed to be the most enchanting catalyst. He kissed her. "Didn't you say you wanted to bribe me? I've come to you, so how do you plan to bribe me?"
Jessica leaned back against the wall, looking at Gabriel up close, blinking, "Don't they say Mr. Harriman's not interested in women?"
Jessica continued to smile as she wrapped her arms around his neck, deliberately pulling his head down, smiling seductively. "I have nothing but my femininity. Will Mr. Harriman accept this kind of bribe?"
Gabriel's eyes darkened, his Adam's apple moved slightly. "Yeah."
In the next moment, Gabriel firmly grasped Jessica's waist, pulling her tightly against him.
His kiss was so fierce that Jessica whimpered softly. Within minutes, she was weakly leaning against him, clutching the fabric of his shirt, feeling surrounded by Gabriel's presence.
Several buttons on Gabriel's shirt had come undone, and her sweater was almost halfway up.
Jessica wanted to tell him to be gentle, but the kiss was so intense she couldn't speak, and she didn't want to pull away.
"Uncle Spencer, Mommy," came Danielle's small voice from the other room. They both froze, Jessica's eyes wide as she looked at him. Gabriel pressed her against the wall, both of them catching their breath. He pulled Jessica's sweater back down, then gave her a fierce kiss on the lips, clearly reluctant to let her go.
But Danielle was awake, and it was really inconvenient.
After kissing her enough, he finally stepped back.
Jessica looked up and saw Gabriel's shirt, which she had just messed up, and his eyes, red with suppressed desire due to the interruption.
Even in this disheveled state, he looked so excessively attractive, making it hard for her to look away.
She forced herself to calm down so as not to pounce on him again. She turned and walked around the suite door to check on Danielle, but as she reached the bed, she saw that Danielle had only turned over in her sleep, kicking off the blanket again, but she was clearly not awake, just talking in her sleep.
Jessica looked at the still-sleeping Danielle in a daze, then slowly turned her gaze back to Gabriel, who had also walked over from the suite.
Gabriel stood under the light, looking down at her.
Their eyes met.
It felt like something invisible and heated was flowing in the air.
Under Gabriel's intense, almost predatory gaze, Jessica gulped hard. She stood up by the bed and whispered, "I... I'm going to take a shower."
After a day of filming, she hadn't had a chance to shower since returning to the room. The earlier passion was irresistible, but now that she had calmed down a bit, she thought she should take a shower first.
With that, she didn't dare look at Gabriel's eyes again and quickly headed into the bathroom. Once inside, she realized she hadn't brought any clean clothes and hesitated whether to go out and get them or just wear the bathrobe in there.
After a few seconds of thought, the bathroom door suddenly opened.
She glanced back as Gabriel entered, locking the bathroom door behind him with a flick of his wrist.
After locking the door, Gabriel began to unbutton the remaining buttons on his shirt, looking at the dazed Jessica inside. "Let's shower together."
They hadn't seen each other for a few days, and Jessica had been dragging her feet about moving to the thirty-second floor.
Gabriel certainly wasn't going to let her off easily.
Jessica knew this, but with Danielle sleeping outside and Gabriel having driven all the way here, she thought if she said a few nice words, he might be gentler.
But clearly, he wasn't.
Gabriel was so dominant that she couldn't resist at all, even biting his shoulder in tears didn't help.
With Danielle outside, she bit her lip to keep from making any noise. It was only then that she realized Gabriel seemed a bit upset. She wanted to ask him why, but the words almost turned into sobs. She quickly bit his collarbone again, but the harder she bit, the harder he went.
Finally, amidst her repeated defeats, she heard Gabriel's hoarse voice in her ear, "Inviting you to watch the fireworks show? Hmm?"
Jessica was speechless.
'Was he actually jealous?' she tought.
