Chapter 542 Sweet Extras of Couple Variety Show 27
Jessica didn't say much, just smiled and didn't ask if they wanted kids.
Rachel, being young and not very knowledgeable about the intricacies of married life, blurted out, "Cindy, you and Clayton have been married for so many years. Why haven't you had kids yet?"
Cindy's expression froze for a moment. "I..."
Brent, who was nearby, couldn't take it anymore. He cleared his throat and stood up. "I'll go check on Melissa and see why she hasn't come down yet."
Clayton stepped in to help Cindy out. "We all know our work environments. Over the years, we've been traveling constantly for movie shoots, often to remote and harsh locations. Finding time to have a baby isn't easy. Once things settle down in a few years, we'll definitely consider it."
Then Clayton turned to Jessica. "I've never seen a picture of your daughter with Mr. Harriman. Has she ever been shown online?"
"No, her face was blurred out when any photos were leaked. We've made sure the media respects her privacy, so no clear pictures have been released," Jessica replied.
Cindy smiled and asked, "Do you have any pictures of her on your phone? Can we take a peek? We won't let the cameras catch it, and even if they do, the director won't include it in the final cut. Can we see her?"
"Of course. We're all friends here, and even after the show ends, we might still hang out. I might even bring her over to your place for dinner someday. You'll meet her eventually. Photos are no big deal," Jessica said cheerfully, pulling out her phone and scrolling to a few pictures of Danielle. She handed the phone over to them.
Clayton and Cindy looked at Danielle's photos, their eyes filled with admiration and affection.
"She's so cute and beautiful. She looks a lot like you, but her expressions remind me of Mr. Harriman," Cindy said, full of praise.
Clayton nodded. "Absolutely. Jessica and Mr. Harriman both have great features, and this little one has inherited all their best traits. She's wonderful."
Rachel, curious, leaned in to take a look. "I think she looks more like Jessica."
Clayton didn't argue. "It's common for girls to resemble their mothers, but it's also normal for their expressions to resemble their fathers."
Rachel leaned in further and swiped through a couple more photos on Cindy's phone. Suddenly, a picture of Gabriel in the kitchen at Blue Bay Apartments appeared. Jessica had taken it secretly while he was cooking steak for her and Danielle. He was wearing a casual dark gray cotton-linen outfit, not his usual office attire.
"Oops, sorry, I swiped too far," Rachel said quickly, pulling her hand back.
Cindy turned off the phone screen and handed it back to Jessica. "I thought Mr. Harriman went to the kitchen to help Amy. Does he cook at home too?"
