Chapter 700 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 185

Jessica subtly raised an eyebrow, but her face stayed unreadable. No one could tell what she was thinking.

Gabriel, on the other hand, burst out laughing at Kevin's comment. His laugh was light and detached, like he found the situation amusing but didn't really care to get involved.

"You're only seeing the tip of the iceberg from a colleague's perspective," Gabriel said, lounging in the armchair without any extra movements. His gaze was lazy and indifferent, as if he hadn't wanted to get involved but couldn't stay out of it once dragged in. "There's no need to say much, but buying breakfast for Jessica and me is a very routine thing."

"Mr. Harriman, that's just too much. We're trying to solve a case here, not show off your relationship," Clayton said, rubbing his forehead.

Gabriel's refined eyebrows twitched slightly, but he didn't say anything more. His eyes were clear and bright, exuding a calmness that couldn't be more serene.

Jessica silently rubbed her own forehead and added, "It really is a routine thing. I'm often too busy with filming and events to remember to eat on time, so he always prepares meals for me in advance. He either reminds me to eat or puts the food right in front of me, making sure I do. It's a common occurrence."

The room fell silent.

Eventually, everyone tactfully averted their gaze from the couple.

Alright, they got the message.

Moving on.

Brent stroked his chin, his eyes scanning the room before landing back on Kevin.

At that moment, Amy was quietly inching closer to Kevin. She covered her mouth and whispered in his ear, "Gabriel's eyes were practically freezing you just now. Were you trying to provoke him? Why did you suddenly suspect Gabriel?"

Kevin, seeing her daring to gossip, pressed her head away with his hand and said in a low voice, "Just gathering evidence, don't overthink it."

"I'm not overthinking. I just wanted to say that back when we were on set, I also paid attention to your breakfast every day. I even bought you breakfast, but you always refused," Amy muttered softly, her eyes catching Brent looking their way.

She immediately averted her gaze and tried to push Kevin's hand off her head.

Kevin didn't look at Brent. His hand remained on her head, and suddenly, he moved his palm to the back of her neck, pulling her closer. It was a distance that was hard to define—somewhere between intimate and appropriately polite, given the cameras. In a voice only she could hear, he said softly, "That was then. From now on, breakfast will be for two. I'll take care of your breakfast."

Amy, flustered, tried to push his hand away again, whispering, "Who asked you to?"

Kevin didn't let go. He looked down at her half-struggling, half-blushing face and smiled. He gently squeezed the back of her neck, pulling her even closer. As Amy realized how close they were getting and turned her eyes to remind him they were on camera, he whispered in her ear, "Still avoiding me? Last night you hid in the next room and locked the door."

Amy was speechless.

She instantly recalled the awkward and blush-inducing moment last night in the hotel room when Kevin suddenly walked in from outside.
