Chapter 68 Were You Intentional?

Jessica was not surprised by this. With Trinity's temper, she would have wanted herself to disappear from Xyleria immediately, let alone in the entertainment industry. She had already endured enough until now before gradually taking action.

The make-up artist was taken aback and said, "But I haven't finished here yet."

"The entire afternoon is dedicated to Trinity's scenes. No one else is in a hurry, can't she remove the make-up by herself?" Lisa warned, looking at the make-up artist behind her. "What, don't you want to go?"

"I want to, of course, I want to. Then I..." The make-up artist, after all, had received payment from Jessica and looked awkwardly at her through the mirror.

Jessica didn't express her opinion, but she did not intend to make things difficult for her, so the artist quickly followed Lisa.

Although the other make-up artists couldn't go in to help, they sat on the side chatting and nobody came to help Jessica remove her make-up.

Jessica slowly removed the heavy and complicated hair accessories on her head, hair bundle, hairpin, wig, one by one, and finally stood up to change her clothes inside.

In the dressing room, there were several separate compartments and temporary veils for concealment. Generally, dressing rooms for these scenes were very rudimentary. Jessica just glanced over there and went directly behind the veil to change clothes.

By this time, Trinity had already finished her fittings and entered the dressing room amidst the hustle and bustle of staff and make-up artists.

The lighting inside was not particularly bright. Upon entering, she suddenly saw the figure changing behind the veil.

No one else had much reaction, but when Trinity saw the vague figure behind the veil, it was as if she had stepped on a thorn. Her face immediately changed, and she quickly walked to the veil, directly pulling it aside.

Seeing Jessica standing inside, Trinity's hand holding the veil trembled. "You..."

Jessica turned around, her tone calm but every word clear as she saw the fear in Trinity's eyes. "Who did the make-up on the leading actress's face? Why is it so pale?"

Trinity forcefully pulled down the curtain, causing the metal ring used to secure the curtain to fall and roll to Jessica's feet.

Jessica remained unfazed, but her eyes were filled with an elusive smile.

"Did you do it on purpose?" Trinity glared at her, the faint trace of fear in her eyes gradually hidden, but her hand still gripped the corner of the curtain tightly. "Who allowed you to change clothes here? Get out!"

The makeup artists and crew members who came in with her dared not breathe loudly and couldn't help but admire Trinity from the bottom of their hearts. She was truly worthy of being Trinity. Just as she had joined the crew, she snatched Jessica's makeup artist. The first thing she did when they met was to tell them to get out. She didn't bother with any superficial pleasantries and went straight to confrontation!

Tell her to get out? Jessica put on her coat, without even bothering to look up, she smiled lightly and casually tucked her long hair behind her back as she passed by her.

Everyone thought Jessica was scared, so she left without a word.

But no one noticed Trinity, who was facing away from them, standing where the curtain had been torn, looking at the fallen curtain and metal rings on the ground. Layers of fear appeared in her eyes over and over again.

Jessica must never stay in the entertainment industry!

She must not stay in Xyleria either!

Otherwise, if the truth from five years ago were exposed, all the glory she had achieved in the past five years, including being the Jenner family's favorite and her engagement with Keegan, would become a joke in everyone's eyes.

‘Jessica, five years ago, we had already severed ties, and you were driven out of the city.’

‘Five years later—'

‘You still have no reason to exist in this world!’
