Chapter 462 Once Again a Hot Topic
At the table, it wasn't just Danielle grabbing everyone's attention; a lot of the relatives were sneaking glances at Jessica too.
Gabriel stuck to Jessica like glue the whole time. Since it was morning, there was no need for booze, just a few elders sipping on tea. While chatting with others, he kept piling food onto Jessica's plate.
Sure, Jessica could reach the food herself, but Gabriel made sure to get the dishes that were a bit out of her reach.
Everyone at the table noticed this but kept quiet, clearly watching Gabriel's every move during breakfast.
Kimberly was sitting right across from them. It would've been polite to serve her some food too.
But Gabriel acted like he didn't see her, only serving food to Jessica. He didn't care if Kimberly could reach the food or not. He chatted away with others while looking after Jessica meticulously.
By the end of breakfast, Jessica was so stuffed she could barely move.
She nudged Gabriel and whispered, "Stop serving me food; I'm really full."
Gabriel turned to her. "You didn't eat much last night and you're full already?"
Not much?
Sure, she didn't have much time to eat last night, but Gabriel, worried she might be hungry, had brought her several pieces of cake, which she nibbled on when she had a moment. So, she actually ate quite a bit.
Seraphina suddenly chimed in, "Jessica, you don't need to worry about your figure. Eat up. You and Gabriel are still young, and there's a long road ahead. You might get pregnant again someday, and while Grandma can still move, I can help you with the baby."
Even with all the relatives and guests at the table, Jessica didn't mind the topic. She loved kids and never shied away from talking about them. She laughed, looking a bit embarrassed, but she was actually thinking about it.
Given Gabriel's recent behavior, Seraphina's prediction might just come true.
Half a month later, the movie "Shadow Kill" officially wrapped up.
Amy had only been there for a few days for her cameo and had left the crew long ago. She came back to celebrate on the night of the wrap party. After drinking too much, she clung to Jessica's arm and shouted, "Jessica, we're practically family now. You have to keep your promise and protect me. It's too hard to survive in this industry. Everyone's got two faces, and without protection, I'm afraid I'll get swallowed up."
Then Amy turned to Kevin, pointing at his nose and demanding why he wouldn't accept her wrap gift. She had put a lot of effort into it, but he kept refusing.

On Christmas Eve, the couple, who had been laying low for a while, suddenly popped up in the trending topics.
So, the reason they were trending was because some travel-loving passerby snapped pics of Gabriel and Jessica chilling on a private beach at a hotel.
This passerby even caught Jessica handing Gabriel two sparklers at night, then stepping back to snap some pics of him. Gabriel, holding the sparklers, had this helpless yet doting look on his face, all caught on camera.
Since the passerby wasn't from the media, they didn't think there was anything wrong with photographing a cute couple. They posted the pics online that night.
Soon enough, someone boldly posted a photo of Gabriel from a tech expo a week earlier.
Even though all the photos were candid side shots, Gabriel was looking sharp in tailored suits, exuding this elite, noble, and aloof vibe. His side profile was so striking, like that of a movie star.

The internet was buzzing, but Jessica had no clue. She only found out when she got a Facebook message from Zoey early in the morning. She barely opened her eyes to check her phone before closing them again.
The sound of water in the bathroom stopped, snapping her back to reality. She quickly wrapped herself tightly in the blanket, leaving only her head exposed to look towards the bathroom.
Gabriel came out of the bathroom early in the morning, dressed in a crisp white shirt and suit, looking every bit the refined gentleman. Jessica mumbled something indistinctly, complaining that Gabriel was a wolf in sheep's clothing, looking all refined during the day but becoming more enthusiastic in their bed at night.
Two years ago, before they were married, she was only occasionally exhausted by him.
Now, after marriage, especially recently since she didn't have to film and was on vacation with him due to his meetings, their days were too leisurely. As a result, she was exhausted every night.
Jessica hid under the blanket, holding up her phone weakly, "You got photographed again."
Gabriel casually adjusted his tie, turned to look at the screen of her phone, and walked over. Just as he saw the photos clearly, Jessica, with a mischievous look, poked her head out of the blanket and said, "Some fans are even hoping your company goes bankrupt so you can act. They want our studio to sign you."
Gabriel ignored the photos on her phone, tucked her tightly wrapped blanket, and kissed her on the lips. "Can you afford to sign me?"
