Chapter 287 Jessica Was Pregnant

"When you went to that hospital for a prenatal checkup, it showed you were in the early stages of pregnancy. Jessica, have you been pregnant? According to the timeline, five years ago you got pregnant in Xyleria and then fled to M Country?"

The voice on the phone was low, hinting that Trinity only had a small piece of information and no solid proof, just speculation.

But it was this very speculation that made Jessica feel like a venomous snake was slowly crawling up her back, chilling her to the bone.

"Jessica, a few months ago, my people noticed you frequently hanging around a kindergarten. Did you have a child?" Trinity speculated and sneered, "When you had a checkup at Andes Women's Hospital in M Country, it was exactly three months after you 'died' in Xyleria. The prenatal records from that hospital also showed you were about three months pregnant. What a coincidence! Whose child is it? Is it that man's from that night? Even if Stanley didn't succeed, didn't you still sleep with other men? I still remember the scene when Dad sent you to the hospital in that miserable state. Is the child his?"

Jessica stood by the sofa, her expression gradually turning cold. She didn't rush to respond, just listened as Trinity revealed everything she knew bit by bit. After confirming that Trinity was merely speculating without concrete evidence, she calmly said, "Your imagination is quite creative. If you can't make it in the entertainment industry, you should consider writing novels."

Jessica's tone was so calm that Trinity couldn't detect any emotion, but she still pressed on relentlessly. "Even if you had an abortion, it doesn't change the fact that you were pregnant! Jessica, you're a popular actress now. How could you be so careless? How could you let the fact that you were pregnant be discovered?"

Trinity laughed as she spoke, "Do you know what the consequences would be if this got out? Even if my career is ruined, you won't have it easy either."

Before she could finish, Jessica had already hung up.

Trinity, unable to return to the Jenner family and with no one else around, sat alone in her hotel room, staring at the disconnected phone. Even though Jessica hadn't revealed any emotions, Trinity had a vague feeling that Jessica was hiding a secret.

This secret must be related to this matter.

How could it be such a coincidence that she frequently appeared near a kindergarten?

Four Seas Entertainment, President's Office.

The secretary had just brought in a cup of coffee. Seeing Keegan's still cold and desolate expression, she didn't dare say much and quietly left.

The phone on the desk suddenly rang. Keegan paused his signing, rubbed his temples, and glanced at the caller ID. His expression turned displeased, showing a hint of impatience.

After the phone rang for a while, he finally picked it up but didn't speak.

"Keegan," Trinity's voice came through, filled with infinite grievance, "Are you really going to ignore me? The Jenner family is in so much trouble now. After all these years of our relationship, are you really going to let me end up on the streets without even arranging a place for me to stay?"

Keegan closed his eyes, his tone cold and distant. "Where are you now?"

"A hotel," Trinity choked up. "Since that live reality show, my studio and agent threw a termination agreement at me and haven't cared since. I can't go back to the Jenner family now, so I'm staying at a hotel. It's quite close to Grain Villa."

She wanted to stay at Grain Villa, Keegan's place. She had tried to occupy it before, but he never gave her the chance to actually live there. The villa remained empty, and Keegan rarely went back, but Trinity knew he never sold it and often had it cleaned.

Keegan seemed to ignore her last sentence and said, "Uncle Eugene is being investigated by the elders of the Jenner family in the capital, and Aunt Linda is being investigated by the police for a business case. These are not matters I can interfere with. I can't help you. If the hotel is uncomfortable, don't you still have my card? Get yourself an apartment; it's not difficult."

"I never wanted your money, don't you understand?" Trinity's voice choked up even more. "Keegan, no matter what I've done, no matter my relationship with Jessica, I've always been sincere with you. That has never changed."

Keegan impatiently frowned. "Trinity, I already know everything you arranged for Stanley to do to Jessica. Not blocking your contact is already a courtesy. Say what you need to say, or I'm hanging up."

Trinity was silent for a few seconds, sensing Keegan's patience was running out. Just as he was about to hang up, she suddenly raised her voice, "Jessica was pregnant in M Country! Did you know she had a child?"

Keegan paused, then coldly asked, "What do you mean?"

"I know she had prenatal records at Andes Hospital in M Country. She was three months pregnant at the time! "Keegan, you think you've got me all figured out, but have you really seen through Jessica? She's not who you think she is anymore. She's changed, Keegan. She even has a kid now!"

"Enough!" Keegan snapped, "Besides making baseless accusations and speculating about others, what else can you do? Trinity, I used to think you were just misguided by your mother. Now I understand why Jessica has been so cautious all these years. She never wanted to return to the Jenner family because everyone in your family is rotten to the core."

Trinity, seemingly numb from the recent blows, persisted. "But she really was pregnant..."

"Click."

The phone was abruptly hung up, leaving a cold dial tone.

Keegan tossed the phone back on the desk, then picked it up again and opened a password-protected secret email.

The email contained two photos.

The first photo showed Jessica in front of a kindergarten near her old residence, smiling as she held a little girl's hand.

The second photo showed Jessica carrying the little girl as they walked out of a supermarket.

These photos had been with him for a long time.

A few months ago, Trinity had someone follow and investigate Jessica. He intercepted all the important photos, so Trinity never got ahold of them.
