Chapter 622 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 107

Sometimes, reality TV shows stir up drama by intentionally causing friction and conflicts among the guests, to see how they handle it.

Even though Lester's comment didn't get much of a reaction, everyone had their thoughts about it.

Jessica glanced at Lester and Rachel, her face full of innocent curiosity, and asked directly, "What's the scoop? Spill it!"

Lester didn't care if this conversation would be edited out later. He said, "Ms. Jenner, what do you think? Everyone was having a blast earlier, but you and Mr. Harriman were still diligently fishing. You didn't join in the fun, and now we find out there's a reward. It's weird if you knew about the reward and still didn't join in."

Rachel added, "It was pretty lively earlier. I almost couldn't resist jumping into the sea for a bit."

The other guests stayed silent, but Clayton scratched his head and said, "This is on me. I got too caught up in the fun and forgot about the game tasks the director mentioned. Mr. Harriman isn't the type to mess around. It's our fault."

Brent clicked his tongue, "What's right or wrong? The game rules are clear. It has nothing to do with Mr. Harriman and Ms. Jenner. Lester, stop stirring things up."

"What am I stirring up? They've had the choice of the villa twice now. They didn't stay there last night because they didn't know how bad the cave would be. I doubt they'll stay with us in the cave tonight. The game rules are just that, rules. The ultimate goal is the reward, right?" Lester scoffed.

"No need to nitpick. We did get carried away," Kevin said, his face slightly cold, trying to defuse the situation and stop Lester from causing more trouble.

Rachel thought for a moment and suddenly said, "Mr. Harriman, why don't you and Ms. Jenner go rest in the villa? We'll call you down when lunch is ready."

Gabriel seemed not to hear her, only giving Lester a cold glance when he scoffed again. "Rules are rules. Complaints and emotions outside of them are childish."

Lester's expression froze. He wanted to snap back but realized it was Gabriel in front of him. His anger dissipated, and he muttered, "Whatever you say, I'm childish."

"Lester," Rachel tried to calm him down, pulling his arm, but he shook her off.

Rachel quickly stepped closer to Gabriel, "Mr. Harriman, don't mind him. Lester is just..."

As Rachel moved closer, a subtle look of disgust and distance flashed in Gabriel's eyes. "Ms. Walker, I don't like standing too close to people, especially the opposite sex."

Rachel's face turned pale, and she stepped back awkwardly. "I just wanted to..."

Jessica's light laughter interrupted, "Gabriel isn't angry. He's just expressing his opinion on certain emotions. Ms. Walker, no need to take it so seriously. And we all caught the fish and seafood together. We're all tired and need to prepare lunch in the cave. Why suggest I go rest in the villa?"
