Jessica glanced back at Debra, surprised. Debra was still smiling, as if she hadn't said anything at all. She patted Jessica's hand and walked with her into the rubber tree grove.
Jessica kept her face neutral, but inside, she got it.
When Cindy mentioned Rachel earlier, Jessica had sensed something was off.
Now that Debra had said something too, it was clear that Rachel's attitude was obvious to most of the women.
Women really did understand each other best.

Debra nodded and turned to find Maurice, who had been working alone for a while. The couple continued collecting rubber together.
Rachel, walking ahead, didn't pay much attention to Jessica at the back. She scanned the rubber grove and saw Lester helping Amy again. She scoffed, as if she saw through everything and couldn't be bothered with him. Lester caught Rachel's glance and returned it with a similar knowing look.
Gabriel and his cousin both had impressive family backgrounds, and everyone knew it.
Besides, Amy often felt neglected by Kevin. Although Kevin had worked with Amy for a long time today, Lester frequently found opportunities to help her. Amy, who wasn't familiar with Lester at first, had become comfortable around him, laughing and chatting without any reservations. Kevin occasionally glanced at them, his expression unreadable, as he silently took Amy's bucket to collect rubber, saying nothing.
"Alright, just secure the bucket here," Lester said as he peeled the white rubber from the tree. He looked down and noticed Amy's bucket was gone. He glanced around and saw Kevin had already taken it to another tree. Lester and Amy exchanged a look.
Amy, a bit confused, turned to Kevin and quickly walked over. "Kevin..." She paused, remembering Jessica's advice to be less clingy and childish. She forced herself to say, "Mr. Martinez, you can focus on your work."
Kevin acted as if he hadn't heard her. After securing her bucket to the tree, he turned to her and said coolly, "Isn't this a show? Are you looking to switch partners in the first episode?"
"What?" Amy's expression was one of surprise.
