Chapter 579 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 64
Jessica's ears had always been her weak spot, and she knew Gabriel was well aware of this.
But now they were outside, in a tent, filming a show. No matter what, she had to stifle the instinctive moan that almost escaped her lips. She pulled her gaze back, lightly pushing Gabriel away and glaring at him to stop his playful biting.
Gabriel whispered in her ear, "Didn't know you could get so jealous."
"Right back at you," Jessica shot back, not willing to back down.
Gabriel raised an eyebrow, holding her close with one arm while pushing the cooler filled with ice to the side with the other. He then lay down, pulling Jessica with him.
The pillows in the tent were basic, so Jessica rested her head on his arm, just like she did at home. There was no need to feel embarrassed; after all, the cameras might not even capture this, and it wasn't a live broadcast anyway.
With the ice from the cooler, the air inside the tent was as cool and comfortable as the night before. The faint chill wafted through, making the temperature just right.
Jessica was exhausted after a long day. Nestled in Gabriel's arms, she was on the verge of falling asleep within minutes.
But then she thought of the girl at the supermarket and Rachel, who seemed to have her eyes on Gabriel. Instinctively, just as she was about to drift off, she ungracefully threw her leg over Gabriel's, as if to claim him and ward off any potential rivals.
Gabriel didn't move away. When Jessica's leg started to fidget against his, he finally had to press a hand to her waist, his voice low and husky, "Stay still."
Jessica's eyes flew open at the sound of his deep, husky voice. Seeing the intensity in Gabriel's gaze, she quickly withdrew her leg, her face flushing. She shot him a look that said, "How can you be so touchy even when we're out?"
Despite her glare, Jessica's arms tightened around Gabriel's back, making no secret of her possessiveness.
Gabriel looked at the woman in his arms, who was trying to behave but wasn't quite succeeding. He sighed, kissing her forehead with a mix of frustration and affection. "How long have we been out here?"
"Not long, it's only the second day of filming. Today was just the first episode," Jessica replied, squinting up at him, clearly understanding the implication behind his words.
Before coming to Harmony City to film the show, Gabriel had been working overtime at the office to free up time to be with her. Although he came home every night, by the time he showered, she and Danielle were already asleep.
Sometimes, she and their daughter would sleep together in the nursery, and Gabriel didn't have the heart to disturb them.
In other words, it had been almost ten days since they had been intimate。
And now, in this small, temperature-controlled tent, it felt private but wasn't entirely so.
If they wanted to, Jessica wanted it too.
Gabriel was right there, having made time to be with her. Danielle was at the Harriman Villa with Michael and Seraphina, leaving them to enjoy their time alone.
This rare opportunity to be together without their daughter suddenly jumping into bed and asking why Daddy always kissed Mommy was precious.
But they couldn't do anything about it.
It was indeed very frustrating.
