Chapter 713 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 198
"Hey, boss!"
The people in line only heard Brent's shout before he rushed up to Gabriel, shoving a handful of discount coupons into his hand. "Boss, you guys are already in line, and it's blazing hot today. The line behind us is crazy long. We won't cut in line, but can you help us buy the tickets?"
Gabriel raised an eyebrow, looking at Brent's face, which seemed to have added several layers of shamelessness. Hugo quickly stepped in to hold back Clayton, who was about to turn around and kick Brent out.
Hugo, acting like a buddy, wrapped his arm around Clayton's neck. "Clayton, once we get into the racetrack, you can pick the first horse. We won't fight you for it. Just let us in!"
Clayton, gritting his teeth, still wanted to turn around and kick Brent out.
Hugo held onto his neck tightly, grinning and calling him "boss" repeatedly.
It was clear these two had teamed up to be shameless.
"Get lost!" Clayton couldn't push Hugo's arm away, so he twisted his foot to kick Brent behind him.
Brent, agile as ever, jumped aside. He didn't dare to hug Gabriel, but his grinning face wasn't much different. He kept suggesting they drink together, smoke together, or plan future outings with their wives, trying every ridiculous way to get close.
Gabriel didn't indulge him. A staff member, noticing the commotion, quickly came over to drag Brent away. Brent, however, clung to Gabriel's arm, a big guy hanging onto Gabriel. His legs almost wrapped around Gabriel's, nearly locking him in place.
"No, I'm not leaving! Boss, I'll be your sidekick from now on, not just for the show. Clayton's only with you for today, but I'll stick with you forever, boss!" Brent shouted.
The onlookers burst into laughter. Someone couldn't stand it and said, "You celebrities are too funny. How much do you need? I'll cover it."
Brent turned to Marshall, "Is that okay?"
Marshall gave him a look that said, "What do you think?"
Brent knew it wasn't okay. They couldn't take money from bystanders or fans. Determined, he wrapped his legs around Gabriel's, clinging like a massive bear, shouting, "Boss!"
Gabriel had never felt so helpless in his life.
Having been decisive in the business world and dealing with all sorts of experts, no trick usually worked on Gabriel. He could see through them and dismiss them easily.
But Brent's unconventional approach had actually trapped Gabriel.
Jessica, who had been sitting quietly under an umbrella, heard the commotion and couldn't resist checking it out.
She saw Brent clinging to Gabriel, who looked as dark as a thundercloud, barely restraining the urge to pry him off. "Let go."
"No, not until you accept me as your sidekick!" Brent shouted, holding onto Gabriel.
"Let go!" Gabriel demanded.
"Nope!" Brent retorted.
Jessica and Melissa, watching this unfold, were speechless.
Jessica raised her hand to her forehead.
