Chapter 707 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 192

In the game show, it was all about winning or losing, and if you lost, you had to accept the penalty.

Everyone had to hand over their remaining funds from the previous episodes. Since Hugo and Elise were new this episode, they didn't have any funds to contribute.

But when Marshall announced the start of the third episode's budget distribution, everyone who had been relatively calm suddenly tensed up upon hearing the amounts.

"Since this episode involves going to the forest park and the horse riding arena, the show has covered the park entrance tickets, but you'll need to figure out the horse riding tickets on your own. Of course, the budget for this episode will be adjusted accordingly. Each team will receive $500," Marshall explained, holding a stack of discount vouchers. "These are partial discount vouchers for the horse riding arena. They can offset some of the cost, but the amounts vary, so you'll need to earn them this afternoon."

"$500 per team, six teams, that's $3,000. Are we giving it all to Mr. Harriman?" Clayton asked, looking pained.

"Of course," Marshall nodded.

Clayton clutched his chest dramatically. "If I'd known being the villain was so lucrative, I would've done it too. You get so much money."

Cindy rolled her eyes and patted Clayton's arm, subtly hinting that he should know his limits.

Brent laughed. "If you were the villain, you'd probably end up giving your budget to everyone else. Do you even know how many votes you got?"

Clayton, still clutching his chest, squinted and calculated, "Three thousand dollars, plus the few hundred we just handed over."

While Clayton was still calculating, the other contestants rushed forward to grab the discount vouchers for the horse riding tickets.

The vouchers varied in value, some worth tens of dollars, others hundreds, but the exact rules weren't clear and would likely be explained at the venue.

After the chaos caused by the impromptu case, the show decided to make up for the missed breakfast by having the "resurrected" chef prepare a delicious lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, they would head to the forest park.

This time, instead of taking a bus, they were divided into groups and traveled in sponsored vans.

Before getting in the vans, they played a grouping game. Each van would carry four people, and Jessica, Gabriel, Cindy, and Clayton ended up in the same van.

Cindy pulled Clayton and Jessica to the back seats, leaving the front passenger seat for Gabriel.

Gabriel opened the door, glanced at the seats, and then looked back, signaling Jessica to take the front seat for more comfort since she was pregnant.

"Mr. Harriman, you're spoiling your wife too much. I need to chat with Jessica," Cindy said, pulling Jessica to the back. The back was spacious, just not as adjustable as the front.

Seeing that Jessica didn't mind and actually wanted to chat, Gabriel didn't argue. He closed the door, grabbed three bottles of water from the door's storage, and handed them to the back.
