Chapter 658 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 143
Melissa shot Amy a look that screamed pity and muttered, "Hopeless."
She grabbed Brent, who was grinning like a fool, and headed out the door.
Debra and Maurice followed, and Clayton and Cindy exchanged glances with Gabriel and Jessica. Without a word, the four of them also made their way outside.
Amy, still holding the banana, hesitated for a moment before looking at the only person left in the villa's living room, Kevin. "Uh, Kevin, do you want this?"
Kevin's forehead twitched as he rubbed his temples, then looked at her with a mix of frustration and disbelief. "Everyone else gets it, and you still don't?"
"Get what?" Amy stood up from the couch, suddenly feeling a bit nervous. "What are you talking about?"
Kevin squinted at her in disbelief. "You don't have feelings for me?"
Amy had been back in the country for a while now, chasing after him, declaring her admiration and love. It had always been one-sided, but this was the first time Kevin had ever acknowledged her feelings, even if indirectly.
Though it wasn't exactly a response.
Amy stared at him, momentarily stunned. "I used to like you, but Kevin, you don't need to worry about that. After this show is over, we probably won't have any more projects together. I promise I won't bother you anymore. I'll turn over a new leaf, I won't—"
Kevin's frown deepened as he listened. Suddenly, he reached out and grabbed her wrist.
Amy's words were cut off, her voice freezing as she felt the warmth of his hand. Instinctively, she tried to pull away, but Kevin held her firmly, leading her around the couch and up the stairs.
"Amy, we need to talk." Kevin's voice was firm as he pulled her along, not looking back or slowing down.
Amy was startled but didn't dare struggle too much. She was practically dragged upstairs, and once they reached the second floor, Kevin led her into a small, locked walk-in closet next to the bedroom.
As soon as they were inside, Amy tried to ask what he wanted to talk about, but the door slammed shut behind her. The closet was dark and cramped, and Amy strained to see Kevin's face. "Kevin, what are you—"
Kevin finally let go of her hand but remained so close that they were almost touching. He leaned down and asked, "You've been back for a while now, and we've worked together for some time. Are you sure you know what kind of person I am?"
It seemed like a deep question.
Amy thought for a moment before answering, "Yes, I'm sure."
"So, can you tell the difference between a fan's infatuation and genuine feelings between a man and a woman?"
Amy suddenly fell silent. Sometimes, people avoid thinking too deeply because they're afraid of rejection or being disliked.
But Kevin's questions were so direct, each word piercing through the barrier she thought would never break.
In the darkness, Amy clenched her fists and lowered her head, speaking softly. "I know that no matter what kind of feelings I have, they only trouble you. I promise I won't—"
Before she could finish, Kevin's lips pressed against hers, a kiss that sent a shock wave through her entire body.
