Chapter 285 Going All Out with Gabriel on the First Try

Jessica pretended to be asleep, and Gabriel, who was kissing her, clearly had no intention of calling her out.

But this kiss?

How did it move from her forehead to her nose, then to her cheek, and finally to the corner of her mouth?

Wait a minute!

When Gabriel's kiss landed on her neck, Jessica suddenly shuddered and quickly opened her eyes, raising her hand to push him away.

Gabriel, however, accurately grasped her hand, pinning it beside her head. In Jessica's astonished gaze, he kissed her lips again, holding her in an intimate embrace. As he released her hand, he wrapped his arm around her waist. "Stop pretending to sleep anymore? Hmm?"

Jessica was still sore from last night, and now, early in the morning, Gabriel had her blushing. It was as if the woman standing at the door in a shirt last night, possessed by a spirit, wasn't her.

She awkwardly pulled the blanket up, her eyes fixed on him. The scent of his aftershave, a minty fragrance, was close to her nose. His short hair was neat and clean, as if he had taken a shower that morning. She noticed that Gabriel was wearing a dark gray T-shirt instead of a shirt today.

Jessica couldn't help but raise her eyebrows. Was he really planning to spend the whole day with her without working?

But was Gabriel's lifestyle really this disciplined? They had only finished at dawn, and he had bathed her and coaxed her to sleep. Yet, he was already up and ready, looking so clean and handsome that she couldn't help but want to stay in his arms.

"You, um, what time is it now?"

She originally wanted to ask if he needed rest, if he was tired, or if he needed to sleep a bit more. But the words changed as they reached her lips.

"Eight-thirty." Gabriel saw her trying to hide her blushing face under the blanket and chuckled as he pulled it away.

"Ah!" Jessica exclaimed, trying to grab the blanket back, but Gabriel suddenly lifted her by the waist and placed her on his lap. She quickly turned to his face, which was now very close. "Don't pull my blanket; I'm not wearing any clothes."

However, as she spoke, she seemed to realize something. Looking down, she saw that she was wearing Gabriel's shirt.

"When you were half-asleep, you kept mumbling about wanting to wear clothes. There was nothing else here but shirts." Gabriel gave her a meaningful look, eyeing the white shirt she was wearing. "The one you picked last night is nice. I just helped you put it on."

"But I can't go out wearing this." Jessica found sitting on his lap quite comfortable and decided to stay in his arms without moving. She turned to the door of the resting room, which was open. Seeing that his office was quiet with no one else around, she worriedly asked, "Aren't you working today? How are we going to leave later?"

"Once you've had enough sleep, I'll ask Wayne to buy some clothes for you to change into."

"No way!"

Gabriel saw her wide-eyed refusal and easily understood the reason behind it.

She was shy.

She cared about her reputation.

She couldn't let people know she had spent the night in his office and had no clothes to wear.

Jessica didn't say it directly, but she sat in his arms, her face flushed.

Gabriel chuckled, clearly seeing through her.

Jessica decided to speak directly, "Find another way! When Wayne gave me the card yesterday, he couldn't have anticipated this."

Even though she was the one who initiated it.

Gabriel had clearly planned to work all night with a clear mind.

Gabriel just smiled.

"What are you laughing at?"

Gabriel pointed with his eyes towards the door. "The 'Do Not Disturb' sign is still on the door of the CEO's office. Half an hour ago, all the employees had already entered the building, and no one has called my office since."

Jessica fell silent.

During work hours, anyone wanting to call Gabriel's office would have to go through his assistant or secretary first. The fact that no one had disturbed them meant something.

Oh my God!

Was she really that tipsy last night to have her first time with Gabriel in such a big way? Office play! And his assistant knew about it!

Jessica leaned back, looking utterly defeated, wanting to fall back onto the bed. Gabriel held her, catching her as she leaned back, and brought her back into his arms. "People will find out sooner or later. Don't overthink it. What you need to consider now is what you want for breakfast and where you want to go today."

As Gabriel spoke, he pulled her hand away from her face and kissed the corner of her mouth. "Or do you want to stay here with me until it gets dark?"

Jessica quickly and decisively said, "Let's go out and find a place for breakfast."

If they stayed here until dark, and Gabriel didn't have to work today, how else would they spend the time in the resting room?

Her legs were still a bit shaky. If they went at it a few more times, she might really be bedridden for three days, just as Mackenzie and Zoey had predicted.

"Go wash your face. I'll ask Wayne to buy some clothes."

"No need to ask him!" Jessica stumbled out of bed and quickly said, "I'll figure it out myself!"

Even if Wayne and Landon knew, she still cared about her reputation!

Gabriel looked at her, seeing her determination, and didn't insist. "Are you going out in my clothes?"

"I'll wash up first, then check your wardrobe," Jessica said as she hurried into the bathroom.

In the bathroom mirror, Jessica saw the shirt she was wearing and the open collar, revealing the marks from her neck to her collarbone. Her face turned red again.

The scenes from last night vividly replayed in her mind.

Last night was truly her first real sexual experience. Five years ago, all she remembered was panic and pain.

Even though she didn't have much practical experience, she wasn't a naive child.

From midnight to dawn.

Was this the stamina of a Gabriel who had been in meetings in D.C. for days, working overtime after returning to Xyleria?

She knew it! Gabriel had been faking his injuries, his fainting, his need for rest, and his chest pains while recovering at her place! Faking it all!

Forty minutes later.

Jessica picked a slightly longer shirt from Gabriel's wardrobe. Although it wasn't much longer, his clothes were all custom-made, with little difference in size except for the style.

She took a decorative belt from the clothes she wore yesterday, tied it around her waist, rolled up the sleeves of the shirt, and turned it into a makeshift dress. She then wrapped herself in one of his long coats, covering herself from head to toe. Finally, she put on her shoes, grabbed her bag, and hurriedly hid behind Gabriel as they entered the elevator together.
