Chapter 539 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 24
Gabriel didn't say a word, but his actions spoke volumes.
He headed straight to the kitchen.
Jessica watched Gabriel's retreating figure with a puzzled look.
Wow! He is my cousin after all!
Jessica couldn't help but wonder how Gabriel would react when Danielle grew up and started dating.
In the kitchen, Amy was eagerly following Kevin around. "Mr. Martinez, do I use this peeler for the potatoes? How do I peel them? Can you show me?"
"And this, can I use this to make potato strips?"
"So this thing can crush garlic?"
Amy was still chattering away in the kitchen when she suddenly heard the door open. The next moment, she felt a chill run down her spine. She turned around quickly, her eyes widening in surprise. "Gabriel?"
Amy had considered everyone who might come in to help with the cooking, but Gabriel was the last person she expected.
Kevin turned at the sound and saw Gabriel entering. Gabriel ignored Amy's shocked and excited expression, calmly walked past her, and washed his hands. Standing by the sink, his clean-cut jawline and striking looks were not overshadowed even next to a celebrity like Kevin. His presence was entirely different, exuding a cool, elegant aura that was unmistakable, even in the dimly lit kitchen of a small guesthouse.
"Mr. Harriman, let me handle that." Kevin saw Gabriel picking up the baskets of ingredients prepared by the show and quickly walked over.
Gabriel didn't waste any words. He stepped aside to let Kevin use the sink but simultaneously picked up the knife from the cutting board. His tone was calm and composed. "I'll help you chop the vegetables."
Gabriel stood there, the kitchen light casting a glow around him, the knife in his hand gleaming with a certain warning.
Amy, who had felt a chill since Gabriel entered, remained silent, quietly crushing garlic with the tool in her hand.
Kevin's eyelid twitched, but he remained polite. "Alright, thank you, Mr. Harriman."
Gabriel glanced at him with an expressionless face. "It's no trouble."
Gabriel's tone was calm, but Kevin could feel the underlying pressure.
[Did Kevin steal Gabriel's lunch in a past life? Is that why Gabriel is targeting him now?]
[Poor Mr. Martinez, even making dinner feels like walking on eggshells.]
[Mr. Harriman is truly a businessman. He seems friendly and approachable, but he's as sharp as a knife. Hilarious!]
[This is brilliant! First, he's with Jessica, then Amy drags him in. If I were Kevin, I'd be scared too. Mr. Harriman's gaze is full of menace! This dinner is turning into a nightmare.]
With Gabriel "helping," Amy finally quieted down. She didn't dare ask too many questions and only approached Kevin when Gabriel seemed distracted. She would sneak over to ask how to devein shrimp or other kitchen basics she was unfamiliar with. Kevin initially answered her patiently, but as Amy got closer, Gabriel suddenly chopped a piece of meat with a loud thud. Kevin silently and seriously took a step back.
