Chapter 541 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 26
Jessica turned back to her melon, scooting over a bit on the couch to make room for Gabriel.
Gabriel didn't sit down. He noticed how happy she was eating the melon and glanced at the already cut pieces on the table.
Jessica hadn't had much of an appetite lately, probably because of the approaching summer and the rising temperatures. She hadn't eaten much in the past few days, but today she seemed to really enjoy the melons from Harmony City, eating several pieces in a row.
"Try a piece, it's super fresh and sweet. The director said the owner of the B&B picked them from a villager's orchard this afternoon," Jessica said, holding up a piece of melon to Gabriel's mouth.
Gabriel naturally took the melon directly from her hand with his mouth. This casual act of a couple feeding each other fruit caught the attention of the others in the room, who stared at them in surprise.
Jessica paused as she was about to pick up another piece for herself, noticing everyone staring at her. "Why are you all looking at me?"
Rachel, with a mischievous smile, asked, "Are you and Mr. Harriman always this affectionate at home?"
Jessica seemed puzzled by the question. "Is this considered affectionate? Isn't this normal for a married couple?"
"Well, yes, it's normal, but it's surprising to see you and Mr. Harriman still acting like a couple in the honeymoon phase, even with kids," Rachel said, still smiling. Her gaze shifted to Gabriel, who seemed oblivious and walked out to find the director to get more melon for Jessica, planning to let her have some more when she returned to the tent later. After all, it was rare for her to have a good appetite these days.
Clayton and Cindy laughed. Cindy said, "Maintaining a relationship takes effort. Clayton and I have been married for years, and we always take care of each other's feelings. Understanding, support, and kindness are the keys to keeping love alive. Rachel, you're still young, but you'll understand once you get married. And Mr. Harriman and Jessica aren't that old either. Their sweet and lively relationship shows that their marriage is a mutual journey. Jessica truly married for love."
Rachel's smile faded at the mention of marrying Lester, losing interest in the topic. She gave a polite smile and didn't respond further.
Cindy, like Clayton, was quite talkative. Since they had mentioned Jessica and Gabriel's child, she asked, "Speaking of kids, how old is your daughter now, Jessica?"
"She's six, almost seven," Jessica replied. She never shied away from talking about Danielle and had already shared details about her publicly, so she was comfortable discussing it even with the cameras around.
"Almost ready for elementary school?"
"Yes, she'll start in a few months."
"You and Mr. Harriman are so young, and you've been together for so many years. You had your child early, and now she can travel the world with you. That's wonderful," Cindy said, looking envious.
Jessica had heard that Clayton and Cindy had been married for years and had a great relationship but no children. She had assumed they didn't want kids, but now it seemed that might not be the case.
