The team doctor chuckled and said, "Looks like Marshall hasn't introduced everyone yet. Just call me Felicity."
Jessica smiled and nodded, "Felicity."
Felicity studied her face for a moment, then glanced at Gabriel standing behind her. He wasn't hovering, but it was clear he kept a comfortable yet protective distance from Jessica around strangers.
Felicity smiled again, "Mr. Harriman is your husband, so I don't think there's any need to avoid my questions. When was your last period?"
Jessica's polite smile faltered for a moment. She suddenly seemed to realize something and quickly turned to look at Gabriel, who had stepped forward.
Gabriel met her gaze.
Just one look was enough for them to understand each other.
In the past few months, they hadn't been using any contraception, especially after returning from Washington due to the Jenner family situation. Everything had been left to chance.
But Jessica hadn't expected it to happen so quickly.
"Felicity, are you suggesting...?" Jessica raised an eyebrow slightly.
"Judging by your expression, it seems like it's been over a month," Felicity said, taking out a stethoscope to listen to Jessica's chest. "I've been keeping track of everyone's health in the team based on daily records. Ms. Jenner, you're generally very healthy but tend to feel cold. Lately, you've been experiencing dizziness, nausea, and discomfort in your stomach. Your sleep isn't excessively long, but it's not short either. With Mr. Harriman's care, you don't need to get up too early. These signs suggest early pregnancy, but we need further tests to confirm."
Felicity rummaged through her medical kit. "Since I'm always with the team, I mostly carry first aid supplies and common medications. I can't do a blood test, but if it's been over 45 days, I have two pregnancy tests here. You can use one when you get a chance."
Jessica wasn't surprised that she might be pregnant so soon. What surprised her was that the doctor had these tests on hand.
Seeing Jessica's astonishment, Felicity smiled and said, "Don't be surprised. I'm in my thirties, and my husband and I both work in the hospital. We've been too busy to have kids, but we've been trying for the past six months, so I carry these with me."
"No wonder. I was wondering if one of the guests was planning to get pregnant and asked you to bring these," Jessica said, taking the test. "Good luck to you. I'll just use one."
Felicity nodded, "Based on my experience, you're definitely pregnant. The test is just to confirm it. I'm more concerned about you participating in the show. It's only the second episode, and there's a lot of running around. Can you handle it?"
"Even if I am pregnant, the contract is signed, and it's just the beginning. It's not like I'm about to give birth. As long as I'm careful, it should be fine. I don't want to hold up the filming," Jessica said, addressing both Felicity and Gabriel.
