Chapter 681 Sweet Extra - Couple Variety Show 166

The scene didn't go unnoticed. Everyone saw Gabriel, usually so composed, looking a bit flustered in front of a young girl. They held back their laughter, but their eyes and smirks gave away their amusement.

Gabriel withdrew his empty hand and glanced over to see Jessica laughing and sipping water while inviting Elise to sit down. She leaned in to chat with Elise.

"Hey, Mr. Harriman, wanna grab some condiments with me?" Clayton called out.

Gabriel glanced at Jessica, who was still chatting quietly with Elise, their heads close together.

Gabriel's brow furrowed slightly as he stood up to go, but Jessica suddenly called out to him, handing him her small plate without even looking at him. "Get me some condiments too," she said, still focused on Elise. "So, the other day I was..."

Clayton, carrying his and Cindy's plates, walked ahead, amused to see Gabriel in the same predicament. He held back his laughter, waited for Gabriel to catch up, and then said quietly, "My wife told me that the new girl, Elise, is a huge fan of Jessica."

Gabriel replied calmly, "Yeah, I noticed."

"That's how women are. I've gotten used to it over the years. When they meet someone they really like or click with, they're even more attached than when we were dating. I don't get it. They're both women, so why do they need to be so close? But I've noticed, when women get along, they can spend all day together without getting tired of each other. But with us, no matter how much they love us, they get annoyed after a while. They should remember who their husband is."

Gabriel glanced at Clayton, who had suddenly started venting, and asked, "Dry condiments or something else?" as they reached the condiment station and picked up a wooden spoon.

"Cindy and I like our barbecue with sesame paste and some hot sauce," Clayton said, knowing his preference was unusual. He quickly added the condiments to his and Cindy's plates.

Jessica liked her barbecue with dry condiments, usually just cumin and sesame seeds. Gabriel didn't need to ask to know.

After preparing Jessica's plate, he added condiments to his own.

Clayton finished his two plates and noticed Gabriel's dry condiments. He sighed, "Definitely not the same family."

When they returned to the table, Gabriel had two plates with cumin and sea salt, while Clayton had two plates with sesame paste and hot sauce.

"That was quick!" Brent and the others, having finalized the menu, grabbed their plates and asked where the condiment station was.

Clayton pointed with his chin and quickly sat down.

Jessica saw Gabriel return, but didn't look at the condiments he brought. Instead, she gently tugged his sleeve. When Gabriel glanced at her, she pulled his arm and looked at Elise. "Don't call me Ms. Jenner anymore. You're three years younger than me, just call me by my name. Don't be so formal. We're all friends here, and he's your brother-in-law now!"

Gabriel was puzzled.
