Chapter 67 Surprisingly Trouble-Free

The next day, they filmed scenes in the rain, which involved intense laughing and crying.

Jessica quickly got into character, but she found it difficult to pull herself out of the emotional storyline.

It was common for actors to have a hard time recovering from such emotionally charged scenes. Joseph told everyone not to disturb her, and Trinity would be coming over in the afternoon to shoot a few scenes. They needed to quickly prepare in the adjacent studio.

Almost everyone left, leaving Jessica sitting on the wet ground in a disheveled state. Harrison came over and draped a thin blanket over her, squatting beside her and whispering, "Jessica, your performance in this scene made me cry. After experiencing so many tragic encounters, being misunderstood by your masters, rejected by the world, and forgotten by your lover, it would be strange if you didn't turn bad! I'm really looking forward to Katrina turning bad as soon as possible!"

Jessica remained quiet for a while before she lifted her head and looked around, realizing that there was no one else present.

She stood up and asked, "Who was supposed to come for filming this afternoon?"

Harrison looked around and lowered his voice as he replied, "Trinity. I heard that she came on short notice to shoot a few scenes, so it wasn't listed on the call sheet. Everyone has temporarily gone to the neighboring studio to film her scenes for the afternoon."

Harrison muttered under his breath, "Originally, you had a few scenes scheduled for this afternoon, and you had already memorized the script. Now we don't know how long these scenes will be delayed."

Just the mention of Trinity's name was enough to instantly sober Jessica up from her immersion in the role.

She straightened her thin blanket and quickly wiped the wetness from her head before heading towards the makeup room.

In the makeup room, everyone was already buzzing with excitement because of Trinity's arrival, eager to witness a confrontation between her and Jessica.

By chance, they heard the sound of the door opening and turned their heads to see Jessica looking disheveled and seemingly out of sorts.

Seeing her expression, it was clear that she knew Trinity had come.

Trinity arrived quickly, just as the director's group finished setting up the scene.

She was in a hurry and didn't bring her personal make-up artist, so she had to share the common makeup room with other actors. However, she was able to go directly to the VIP room, the most secluded one in the back.

On her way to the VIP room, Trinity had to pass through the large makeup room. As soon as she entered, all eyes were drawn to her.

Trinity's gaze didn't give attention to anyone, as if she hadn't even noticed Jessica sitting in front, removing her makeup. She walked straight in.

She actually didn't go to pick a fight with Jessica?

Everyone was astonished.

Just as everyone thought that Trinity was too proud to pay attention to someone like Jessica, a sudden turn of events occurred. The door to the VIP room opened.

Trinity's assistant, Lisa, came out and said, "We are running a bit behind schedule today, and we need to speed up the makeup process. We are short of hands inside. If anyone is available, come in and help."

Being able to style the hair for the lead actress Trinity would definitely draw attention in the industry. Immediately, a group of makeup artists rushed over.

Meanwhile, Jessica's hair was still wet, and she hadn't changed her clothes. She wanted to remove her makeup first before going in to change. The makeup artists were busy taking off the elaborate classical hair accessories from her head.
Suddenly, Lisa walked towards them as if she hadn't seen Jessica, only glanced at the make-up artist behind Jessica, and said, "You, come with me."
