Chapter 581 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 66

Clayton chimed in, "So not only do we have to bunk together, but we need to livestream the whole thing too?"

Brent laughed, "Man, these days, the only thing we can't do on camera is strip. What else is left for the fans to see?"

"If you wanna kiss Melissa on camera to show off, go for it. No one's stopping you," Clayton chuckled.

Brent snorted and reached out to pull Melissa in for a kiss, his eyes twinkling with mischief, like he was saying, "Who's scared?"

But Melissa quickly turned her head away, dodging Brent's grasp, and playfully slapped his arm. "Cut it out."

Marshall stepped in just in time. "Everyone done eating? We've got over six hours before the bus leaves this afternoon. In the meantime, we've got a game to play to decide our accommodations tonight in Majestic City. The rooms, like here, vary in style. The best ones are private villas at the Mantanani Island resort, while the worst are makeshift shelters on the beach."

"A makeshift shelter?" Amy was surprised. "Isn't that worse than Uncle Gabriel and Aunt Jessica's tent? Those things don't even have walls, just a piece of fabric on top."

"Yeah, but the climate at Mantanani Island is pretty nice. Sleeping there for a night shouldn't be too bad. There are other options too, like a cave on the island."

Everyone was shocked.

A cave?

Brent laughed in disbelief, "I thought this was a travel show where we just eat, sleep, and travel. Maybe occasionally earn some extra cash. This is starting to feel like a survival show. What's next, a game to earn money that's tougher than the rubber plantation?"

Marshall gave a mysterious smile, not answering, but it was clear Brent was on the right track.

Clayton raised an eyebrow, "Are we gonna have to fish for our food? Catch whatever we can and that's all we get?"

Marshall still smiled without saying a word.

Seeing his expression, Clayton slapped his thigh, "It's probably worse than that."

Amy quietly rubbed her forehead, "This is gonna be rough."

Marshall clapped his hands to get everyone's attention, "You've all paid for the bus fare to Majestic City in advance. Each group has some money left, though the amounts vary. This is your budget for food and drinks on the way. As for the game to determine tonight's accommodations, I'll explain after you all return from the supermarket."

"Just tell us now," Brent frowned. "I don't wanna spend a single cent until I know what's coming." If they weren't filming, his look suggested he might just eat Marshall alive.

Melissa suddenly asked Brent, "How much money do you have left?"

Brent was speechless.

The table erupted in quiet laughter. In reality, no one had much money left.

Among all the guests, Jessica probably had the most, but even she only had a little over a hundred bucks, including the fifteen she earned working at the small store.

Gabriel had given all his money to her, leaving himself with nothing. If they were in such dire straits, the others were likely worse off.

Altogether, it seemed unlikely that their combined funds would exceed four hundred dollars.
