Chapter 571 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 56
Debra sat nearby with a warm smile, listening to the young women chat. When she heard Jessica's response, she chuckled softly and said, "You young folks crack me up."
She then looked back at Jessica, her eyes full of affection. "I've got two kids, a son and a daughter. My son's already thirty-five, and my daughter is about your age. If my daughter had your open-mindedness and decisiveness about relationships and marriage, I wouldn't worry so much."
Debra raised her eyebrows and continued cheerfully, "Marriage is something people see differently at different ages. Especially now, with the internet being so prevalent and dominated by young people, there are all sorts of opinions out there. This has led to an increase in the fear of marriage. But in reality, you only know what it's like once you live it. Of course, a woman must love herself first, that's very important. But while youth is great, don't follow unthinkingly. It's more important to listen to your own heart and your partner's voice."
After hearing this, Melissa said nothing more. She turned her head to glance at Brent, who was working hard under the rubber tree, her eyes filled with undisguised affection and amusement.
Rachel, on the other hand, gently put down her small fork and casually remarked, "Yes, Ms. Jenner is indeed very decisive. With such a successful career and a happy family life, she's like a mentor to us. Naturally, she has more insights than those of us still fumbling through life."
Jessica looked directly at Rachel upon hearing this, her expression unreadable. She asked, "Are you feeling lost?"
Rachel, surprised that Jessica, who usually didn't respond to her, suddenly spoke up, glanced at her and replied with a half-smile, "Not really, but maybe I am younger than Ms. Jenner and not as shrewd. I don't know how to keep a man's heart."
Rachel seemed to be hinting at her argument with Lester, but it also sounded like the musings of a young woman going through a rough patch in her relationship, without any major issues.
Jessica smiled and was about to speak when Cindy suddenly stood by the table and casually remarked, "Sometimes, it's not just about being young. You also need to look at your issues."
Rachel's smile didn't fade, but she glanced at Cindy. Cindy looked back at her, smiled, and then shifted her gaze to Jessica, "Are you feeling better?"
Jessica replied, "Much better. I've rested for a while. Shall we get back to work?"
"Let's go," Melissa, who had been restless, stood up and headed out.
Cindy also started walking out, thoughtfully telling Debra, who was about to get up, "You should rest a bit more. You don't need to come."
"I've been resting for quite a while. I can't just eat and drink for free," Debra said with a smile, standing up and reaching out towards Jessica, as if wanting to walk with her.
Jessica thought Debra needed help walking, so she quickly went over to support her. After a few steps, Debra leaned in and whispered in Jessica's ear, "Even though we're filming a show, you still need to be cautious around some people. Don't be too accommodating."
