Chapter 669 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 154
Gabriel's eyes were unreadable as he glanced at her.
Jessica looked up and saw his expression, surprised. "What's with that look?"
"Just surprised," Gabriel replied, his tone calm and steady, almost like he was smiling but without showing it. "You've gotten pretty good at sweet-talking lately."
Jessica was speechless.
She lightly pinched his arm. "I'm just being honest, not sweet-talking."
Gabriel looked down at her shoes. Since they had just come out of the cave, Jessica was still wearing the slippers she had on when she got out of the sleeping bag.
"Are your feet cold?"
"No, it's over 90 degrees at night on this island. The cave was just damp and not great for sleeping, but it's not cold at all. I'm pretty warm." Jessica said as she moved to sit on a flat, polished rock ahead.
But before she could sit down, Gabriel suddenly reached out and pulled her back into his arms. Jessica's nose bumped into his chest. She looked up at him, about to ask what he was doing, when Gabriel took off his sports jacket and tied it around her waist, covering her hips and thighs. Only then did he let her go to sit down.
Jessica sat down happily, looking up at him, but also glancing past him to the night sky behind him.
"The stars are so beautiful," she said.
Gabriel didn't turn to look at the sky. Instead, he reached up to tuck a strand of her wind-blown hair behind her ear, gazing into her smiling eyes. After a moment of silence, he said, "Yeah."
Jessica suddenly met his gaze, their eyes locking. She tilted her head and smiled. "What are you thinking about?"
"Going home," Gabriel said bluntly.
Jessica asked, "Why?"
"I want to hold you, kiss you." He didn't say more, just leaned down and kissed the corner of her mouth. Then he rested his forehead against hers, gently pinching her ear and chin before kissing her again. His voice was low and husky. "Too many people around, it's inconvenient."
Jessica blushed. "I'm pregnant."
Gabriel chuckled deeply and kissed the corner of her mouth again. "So? That doesn't stop me from kissing you. What did you think I was thinking?"
Jessica raised her hand to push him away, but Gabriel caught her hand and leaned in for a deeper kiss.
In the dead of night, with no lights around, only the stars twinkling in the sky and the sound of the waves, there were no guests or directors nearby.
They had been out here for days, and while they had kissed and hugged, they had always kept it brief to avoid being seen by anyone passing by. Now, Gabriel's kiss and the intensity of his breath were the same as when they were at home, making Jessica's heart race.
This was the Gabriel that no one else saw.
Even though Jessica often said their child was already grown and they were like an old married couple, Gabriel's passion always made her heart race.
As they kissed, Jessica almost melted into Gabriel's arms. She vaguely heard a sound from the sea and saw a faint light approaching.
Jessica squinted at the sea and whispered, "Is that the show's boat?"
Gabriel glanced over and confirmed, "Yeah."
Jessica was excited. "Can we leave the island now? I'll go wake everyone up!"
Gabriel didn't stop her, but as she jumped off the rock, he quickly caught her, his voice still tinged with that husky tone. "Slow down, be careful."
