Chapter 164 Intense Enough to Send Clothes

Danielle didn't dare to stay long, took a glance at Mommy again, and saw Jessica wearing a nightgown with a coat on top, she didn't understand why Jessica was out so late, but when she saw Uncle Spencer coming, she turned back to the bedroom with a happy smile on her face.

Hearing Danielle return to the bedroom, then hearing the movement of Danielle obediently climbing back into bed to sleep, Jessica glanced towards the bedroom, then looked back at Gabriel sitting motionless on the sofa.

Looking at his shirt and the messy ink-black hair of Gabriel after she pushed him onto the sofa due to his ungentle actions, Jessica felt like throwing him out in anger, but she quickly picked up a warm water jug from the coffee table, poured a cup of warm water, and handed it to him.

"Have some water here."

Jessica supported Gabriel's head, trying to feed him some water, but Gabriel just leaned against the back of the sofa, motionless and uncooperative, obviously already deeply asleep.

If he didn't wake up, she couldn't kick him out. Even though the place she was staying in now belonged to him, she wasn't willing to settle him in any of the bedrooms at the moment.

Although there were plenty of bedrooms here, any of them could be tidied up to let him rest for the night.

Since he didn't drink the water, Jessica just put the cup down heavily, stood by the sofa looking at him for a while, and eventually picked up the cup again with an unfriendly expression, offering it to his lips once more, carefully trying to feed him some.

Anyway, she had done this kind of thing before when Gabriel was in a deep coma. She could feed him water and medicine, and now he wasn't immobile.

Perhaps when he was in a deep coma, he really couldn't move, but now not only could he move, he even choked.

After Gabriel coughed, Jessica quickly brought the cup to his lips again, saying softly, "Come on, have a few more sips."

Seeing Gabriel frown as if unwillingly drinking two sips of water, she withdrew the cup, only to see him leaning back on the sofa as if falling asleep again.

She really wanted to capture Gabriel's current appearance and post it online for those girls who were obsessed with the overbearing CEO to see.

She glanced at Gabriel's face again.

But even sleeping on the sofa like this, he still looked handsome.

What was she thinking?

She almost got dragged onto the bed to make love to him by this drunken man just now!

Jessica pursed her lips, walked to the bathroom, turned on the light in front of the mirror, saw her rosy and vibrant lips, and remembered the almost identical scene after waking up at the Harriman family last time.

Great, old and new grudges all added up!

Jessica couldn't sleep at all. She checked the time, and it was already midnight.

She simply made some soup in the kitchen while preparing ingredients for breakfast the next morning and suddenly glanced at a small bottle of mustard placed in the corner.

Early the next morning.

When Gabriel woke up, he found himself still sleeping on the sofa, with a thin blanket that Jessica had kindly covered him in the middle of the night.

He rubbed his sore eyebrows, sat up slowly, and looked around; there seemed to be no presence of anyone else in the house. Jessica was not there, and neither was Danielle.

When he put down the blanket and stood up, he saw his phone on the table, picked it up, and saw a WhatsApp message from Jessica sent about ten minutes ago.

Jessica: [I took Danielle to kindergarten. Breakfast is on the table, so help yourself.]

As Gabriel turned around, he indeed saw something on the table, walking over he saw two ready-made sandwiches and milk.

He didn't eat much last night at the Maple Leaf Club, and now he was indeed hungry.

Sitting down, he picked up a sandwich and took a bite; his expression suddenly stiffened, looking down at the layer in the sandwich that should have been filled with cheese salad or cheese sauce but was squeezed with a thick layer of light green mustard.

Gabriel silently looked at the thing in his hand for a while, thinking about what he had done to her in a sober state last night, after a moment of contemplation, he still ate the mustard sandwich, enduring the spiciness from his nostrils to his throat, picked up the cup and drank some milk, unsurprisingly tasting a lot of mustard juice mixed in the milk.

Spicy on top of spicy, great.

He put down the cup, picked up his phone, and replied to Jessica on WhatsApp.

Jessica had just taken Danielle to kindergarten, and the road back to Blue Bay Apartments was only a few minutes away. She received the message on her way back.

Gabriel: [Breakfast tastes good.]

Jessica's brows twitched, and she replied angrily.

Jessica: [If it's good, eat more!]

Receiving Jessica's reply full of anger, Gabriel faintly smiled.

But after eating little last night and drinking with business partners for hours, his stomach was under duress. Unable to withstand the morning's mustard onslaught, he retreated to the kitchen for a bowl of Jessica's soothing soup from the night before. Gabriel then called Wayne, "Bring me a set of clothes, Blue Bay Apartments, 31st floor."

"Alright, Mr. Harriman."

Wayne answered the call calmly but felt very puzzled after hanging up.

Wayne contemplated in his mind.

'Blue Bay Apartments?'

'31st floor?'

'Clothes delivery?'

'Mr. Harriman usually lived on the 32nd floor. Why didn't he have clothes in his own closet?'

'Aren't the 31st and 32nd floors both his places?’
‘Why specifically ask for clothes to be delivered?'

But Wayne didn't dare to ask more questions. He agreed and quickly went to the CEO's office rest area to find a set of Mr. Harriman's clothes, neatly folded, carefully packed in a bag, afraid of creasing them, and hurried to Blue Bay Apartments.

Jessica, in order to let the esteemed benefactor father enjoy breakfast, deliberately wandered into the fitness area downstairs for a while, not rushing back immediately, only preparing to go upstairs after two laps.

Wayne stood in the elevator of Blue Bay Apartments, watching the numbers continuously rise, recalling Mr. Harriman's condition last night.

Drinking too much but apparently didn't go home directly.

Could it be that Mr. Harriman last night...

A while ago, Mr. Harriman asked him about relationships and women and if it was true...

Is there a woman?

Specifically, asking him to deliver clothes, was last night's scene very intense?

Intense enough to tear clothes, and even such a short distance from the 31st to the 32nd floor wasn't convenient for him to walk personally?

Mr. Harriman usually kept himself clean, didn't even have a female assistant by his side, and there were few interactions with female executives in the company, mostly just work-related discussions and no further contact, but did Mr. Harriman really have a woman recently?

Still not returning from a hangover intense enough to require clothes to be sent?

The elevator stopped on the 31st floor.

Wayne quickly got out and rang the doorbell.

The door opened, Gabriel glanced at him indifferently and was about to take it, when another elevator suddenly stopped on this floor too, with the sound of arrival.

Jessica walked out of the elevator.

Wayne subconsciously turned around, at the sight of Jessica, he was startled, his expensive clothes almost being thrown out of his hand!
