Chapter 537 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 22
Brent lounged on the couch, cigarette in hand, chuckling, "Why should we care? The main thing is you two lovebirds. You haven't even tied the knot yet and you're already doing a show together. Just don't start bickering halfway through. Since you're here, give it your best. I'll have a chat with Lester later, see if he can cut you some slack. Today's live stream probably had the audience noticing his sour face. You two didn't seem in the best mood when you arrived. Better sort it out quickly."
Rachel nodded with a smile, "Sure, thanks, Brent."
Brent waved it off, not making a big deal out of it, and invited everyone over for a drink.
But both the long and short couches were nearly full. The long couch had Clayton and Brent, two big guys taking up space, and Cindy had now joined Clayton, leaving almost no room.
Rachel glanced over at Gabriel's side, where there was still space for one more person. She smiled and walked over, "Alright, I'll sit here for a bit."
As soon as she sat down, Gabriel placed his coffee steadily on the coffee table. Before Rachel could turn to greet him, Amy's voice came down from the second floor, arguing with Kevin about what to cook for dinner.
After a few exchanges with no resolution, Amy angrily shouted towards the director, "What are we supposed to do with all these ingredients? You might as well take the kitchen away and let us build our own stove. You're too harsh!"
Marshall just smiled without saying a word.
As Amy stormed downstairs, Gabriel stood up and turned around. Amy, with a flustered expression, suddenly saw him and froze, then rushed over like she'd found her savior, "Gabriel!"
Everyone thought Amy was seeking Gabriel's help, but then she asked, "Where's Jessica? Where did she go?"
The camera followed Amy, capturing Gabriel and the others again.
Brent and Clayton quickly stubbed out their cigarettes before they could be caught on camera.
The live stream chat buzzed: [This looks like a kid coming home and asking, "Dad, where's Mom?"]
"Outside," Gabriel said, glancing towards the yard outside the guesthouse, then back at the anxious "bunny" hopping in front of him.
Due to recent camera restrictions, Amy had dyed her hair back to its original color. She no longer looked out of place, but she was still as lively as a child, making more noise than everyone else on the first floor combined.
Amy quickly turned and ran outside to find Jessica. As soon as she stepped out, she saw Jessica emerging from a tent, having heard the commotion. Amy rushed over, "Jessica, help! I can't tell the difference between oyster sauce and soy sauce. Kevin said he doesn't need my help, but I want to help him. What should I do? Please save me!"
Jessica was almost knocked over by Amy's sudden embrace. Steadying herself, she was dragged inside by Amy.
Just as they entered, Kevin came downstairs, heading to the kitchen to prepare dinner for everyone. He bumped into Gabriel, nodded politely, then addressed the group, "Does anyone have any dietary restrictions? Anyone who can't handle spicy food?"
Rachel was the first to raise her hand, "Me, I can't eat spicy food. It makes me break out."
Kevin nodded and asked the others, "Any other restrictions?"
Brent suddenly laughed and said, "We're not picky, but just let us know which dish you made and which one Amy made. That way, we know which one is safer to eat."
