Chapter 30 When Eyes Meet
Several RVs were parked outside the set.
In the largest RV, Trinity let the makeup artist style her hair while she browsed Facebook's trending topics.

#TrinitysFirstFilmWrapUp
#TrinityCameoInCharlesTheSecond
Glancing over the various trending topics on the Facebook was routine for Trinity, who appeared there at least six days a week—it didn't faze her.
There was another trending topic, #CastOfCharlesTheSecond, which caught her attention. She had no particular interest in the other actors in the drama and didn't plan to watch it, but her finger inadvertently tapped on it, causing several photos of the lead actors to spring up on the screen.
As Trinity was about to close her iPad, her gaze suddenly froze, and her finger halted mid-press toward the screen, fixated on the fourth picture among those displayed.
Staring at the face that had vanished from her life for five full years, the very face that had haunted her with nightmares and sleepless nights due to its unknown fate!
The makeup artist was just about to tilt Trinity's head slightly to arrange the side hair strands better.
But then, chaos ensued, and the coffee cup on the makeup vanity was knocked over. Reacting as if stung, Trinity stood up abruptly and hurled her iPad onto the coffee-stained vanity.
The makeup artist turned pale with fright, thinking she had inadvertently hurt her: "Trinity..."
Lisa, hearing the commotion, hurried over: "What happened? What's going on, Trinity?"
"Did you bring the casting list for 'King Charles the Second' you mentioned last night? Show it to me," Trinity demanded, her face ashen.
Perplexed but not wishing to delay, Lisa quickly fetched the list from her bag and handed it over.
As Trinity scanned the list and saw the name Jessica following the role of the second lead, Katrina, she clenched the paper so hard it nearly crumpled into a ball.
How could Jessica still be alive?
A year ago, the family's housekeeper mentioned seeing someone who resembled the young mistress in a TV show but didn't get a clear view as the camera shots were brief. Trinity had dismissed it as mere resemblance, never taking it seriously.
Could it really be Jessica?
Not only was she alive, but she had returned to Xyleria.
And she was even acting in TV shows now?
What did Jessica's entry into the entertainment industry mean?
A threat?
Did she think anyone would believe her version of the events from five years ago?
Trinity's face fluctuated between shades of anger and fear, frightening both Lisa and the makeup artist, who barely dared to breathe.
Trinity, known for her demanding demeanor, had never before displayed such a mix of shock, fear, and complexity.
In the TV dramas Trinity had acted in over the years, her performances had always been as bland as a decorative vase, never once displaying such an intense expression that could make one's heart quiver.
People were moving around outside the RV. Trinity abruptly glanced out the window, her eyes trembling fiercely, then tossed the list onto the floor and strode out in her heels with such speed that she didn't even wait for her assistant to open the door, exiting on her own.
Just as Jessica was passing by the RV, heading toward the rest area on the other side, suddenly, a voice called out from beside her: "Jessica."
As she glanced around, she found herself locked in the gaze of someone stepping out of an RV.
In an instant, a sudden flare of fire ignited before her eyes, and she could almost hear the crackling sound of something burning and snapping in her ears.
