Jessica glanced at her and smirked. "So, everyone noticed, huh?"
Melissa let out a sarcastic laugh. "How could we not? It was obvious from the start. And Lester, he's pretty shameless too. Those two are a perfect match."
Jessica chuckled but didn't continue the topic. Melissa, being smart, didn't push it either.
After breakfast, as everyone went to change clothes for the morning's shoot, Amy and a few others huddled together, whispering and looking at their phones.
When Jessica came downstairs, she saw them and, knowing she hadn't done anything to offend anyone, walked over without hesitation. She tapped Amy on the shoulder and peeked over. "What are you guys up to? Keeping secrets from me?"
Amy turned and gave her a cheeky grin, while the others quickly put their phones away.
Cindy, in particular, turned and said she was going to find Clayton. Melissa exchanged a glance with Amy, shrugged, and smiled without saying much. Debra gave Jessica a reassuring look, signaling her not to worry.
Jessica didn't think much of it.
But it was clear they were up to something.
Just then, a staff member came in and clapped their hands. "We just got word from Marshall. The new guests are ready. They're two newcomers in the industry, but they're quite popular with a huge fan base. They're not a couple, just former classmates who teamed up. There's no romantic involvement between them, so just treat them like kids and be friendly. Give them some space to settle in, or it'll be awkward during the shoot."
Jessica gave a thumbs-up. "Got it."
Cindy, who hadn't gone to find Clayton, circled back and said, "We're all pretty easygoing. As long as they're not troublemakers, they should fit in fine. In this industry, we're used to meeting new colleagues every day."
"Exactly," everyone chimed in.
The staff member nodded. "Alright then. The new guests will join you at the next location tomorrow. After today's shoot, try to leave the island before dark."
"So soon?" Brent said, pulling on a sports jacket as he walked over. "I thought we'd be here for a couple more days."
"The island's facilities are limited. We'll shoot one episode here for now. If we need more, we can find another island or scenic spot. The next location is a national forest park with some professional horse ranches."
"Horseback riding?"
"Yes, there will be a horseback riding segment."
"Sounds good. Just don't make it feel like a boring tour group. We need to have some fun, or it's pointless." Brent waved his hand and glanced at his phone. Suddenly, he looked up at Melissa in surprise.
Melissa whispered, "Yeah, I posted on your Instagram."
"What did you post? Why am I getting so many notifications?" Brent muttered as he unlocked his phone. After a quick look, he raised an eyebrow and didn't say more.
Jessica suddenly realized something and quickly grabbed her phone.
