Chapter 231 Afraid of you? In your dreams!
Chapter 231 Afraid of you? In your dreams!
She was already like this, what was there to be afraid of?
To prove she wasn't scared, Jessica bit his lip and stared at him with eyes that shone like stars in the dark, not avoiding his gaze at all.
"Am I that kind of person?" Her tone was even a bit fierce, and she bit him again.
As Gabriel raised an eyebrow at her, Jessica went straight for the remaining buttons on his shirt.
In the dark room, their breathing became increasingly erratic.
From the doorway to the suite's living room to the bathroom door, just a few steps, and no one made a sound in the darkness.
Gabriel pinned her against the wall by the bathroom door and kissed her.
Jessica's head seemed to hit the switch inside the bathroom, and the light suddenly came on, shining through the frosted glass door, illuminating a patch of light in the darkness. "Do we need to take a shower?" she suddenly asked.
"Later."
"Really not taking one now?"
"How long do you think I can hold out?"
Gabriel's voice was more strained than usual, and the heat from his arm was more intense.
Jessica suddenly paused at this moment.
A hint of surprise and embarrassment crept into her eyes, and she pushed Gabriel away, though not completely, and quickly said, "I need to use the bathroom!"
"Just need to use the bathroom!"
A moment later, Gabriel's hand on her waist loosened slightly, and Jessica quickly ran to the door, grabbed her bag, and rushed into the bathroom, closing the partition door between the bathroom and the restroom with force.
Two minutes later, Jessica sat on the toilet, looking devastated and holding a sanitary pad she had taken from her bag.
Her monthly period was usually very regular, and because her period was due soon, she had the habit of keeping a couple of sanitary pads in her bag just in case.
It turned out to be perfect timing.
Even a day later would have been fine!
It seemed like this time it came a day or two earlier than usual.
Was it because of the stress from the past few days? Did it come early because of that?
How was she going to explain it to Gabriel outside?
She couldn't just hide in there all night.
Jessica helplessly tidied up her clothes, straightening her disheveled top and skirt, and looked at herself in the mirror. Her cheeks were flushed more than usual, and she could tell she was still aroused, not wanting it to end like this.
She turned on the faucet, washing her hands while hesitating about what to say, knowing she had already been stalling for quite a while. Gabriel was really respectful of her; even at this moment, with her hiding inside so abruptly, he didn't force his way in.
Although when she had rushed into the bathroom, she had caught a glimpse of his expression, which looked like he wanted to blow up the bathroom and restroom.
After washing up, drying her hands, she walked out. The room was still dark. She saw Gabriel leaning against the wall by the bathroom door, the same spot she had just been against.
He was waiting for her.
As Jessica walked out, Gabriel's gaze was like staring at a prey that could not escape in an endless dark forest. It was dark and boundless, like the deep sea, silent, and as if there was a whirlpool in it.
Jessica cleared her throat, trying to make her voice sound more natural, "I can't believe it myself, but really, my period just suddenly started."
Gabriel seemed a bit slow to process this, his handsome face in the dark making it hard to look away. He frowned. "What period?"
The moment he finished speaking, his gaze suddenly fixed on her face.
The atmosphere suddenly became silent.
Jessica felt extremely awkward. "My period came a day early."
Gabriel paused, turned around expressionlessly, and said, "I'm going to take a shower."
He was immediately stopped by Jessica, who grabbed his hand in front of the bathroom door.
Jessica looked at him, her face still flushed with embarrassment, but her eyes were burning with a fire that refused to retreat.
"At this point, does a cold shower even help?" She held his hand, her voice soft yet clear in the dim room, "Let me... help you... try."
As she spoke, she hesitantly lifted her hand.
Gabriel didn't say a word.
Gabriel's breathing was close to her, matching the erratic rhythm of her own racing heartbeat.
She didn't know what he thought of the courage she had mustered after twenty-four years, but she didn't regret it.
It felt like an eternity.
But it was actually only half a minute.
Gabriel's hot hand gripped her waist, his voice thick and hoarse, as he looked into her eyes and asked, "Can you?"
"No, but I've seen it before, on a classmate's computer when I was abroad."
After a moment, his voice was solemn and clear. "No regrets?"
Jessica neither nodded nor shook her head, just looked at him with bright eyes, showing no sign of retreat.
The next second, her waist tightened as Gabriel opened the bathroom door and almost dragged her inside.
The bathroom light was on.
Everything was clear and visible.
Jessica's face remained flushed, and the Gabriel in front of her was different from the injured Spencer she had seen before.
At least this Gabriel was not as gentlemanly and accommodating as he appeared to be.
Today, he really wasn't holding back.
"Not done yet?"
"Keep going."
"My hand... is getting tired."
"Bear with it."
He was very domineering at this moment.
Jessica's eyes and hands seemed to be on fire, everything burning with an unstoppable intensity.
The sound of the shower's drizzle filled the bathroom, along with Gabriel's repressed yet incredibly sexy voice as he held her tightly by the waist, brushing against her neck.
Jessica wanted to ask how much longer, but Gabriel kept holding and kissing her under the shower, never stopping.
The bathroom tiles and frosted glass were cold, covered in a layer of mist.
But he remained hot.
Gradually, it became impossible to distinguish where was cold while where was hot.
Only the secret, tender feelings in her heart quietly emerged, pounding against her heart under the sound of the shower.
Even though Jessica still wore her skirt, her black hair was disheveled and wet, falling over her shoulders and back.
Underneath the soft strands, the marks of kisses were scattered all over.
Just when she was about to doubt if she could even lift a bag tomorrow, Gabriel suddenly kissed her heavily on the hairline, his arm around her waist tightening even more.
In a daze, she heard his words and went to get some tissue.
She heard his voice, hoarse to the extreme, "One day, I'll die because of you."
Jessica's face burned with heat, and later, in Gabriel's affectionate kisses, she heard his low sigh by her ear, "Jessica, do you want to step into my world?"
